EXCUSES

JISOO'S POV

I'm in front of Aunty's house. I didn't bother to ask Rosé as she's busy on her recording . I'm determined to confront and ready to answer her back. She maybe my aunty but Jennie is my dearest and only cousin on my father's side. I know my uncle isn't perfect but I know he loves Jennie and can protect her better. After knowing what happened as per Jennie I also called Irene. I want to ask details of where Kai is so we can take action or should I say I? I can't believe her mom partnered with him . I already warned Kai not to touch or go near Jennie but he still did. I'm a bit relieved knowing that Irene taught him a lesson however I am not satisfied I want him suffering in jail.

The maid rushed to the gate to open it for me. She told me aunty is not here but I didn't say a thing and just barged in. She tried to stop me but hesitant , all maids and guards know me as I'm always sleeping over with Jennie.

I sat on the couch waiting for aunty. The maid offered me a tea but I declined. Few minutes of waiting and I heard a car parking in the garage. Aunty is walking but busy talking on the phone while checking her nails , it's her pamper day I guess. I cleared my throat as I've heard her talking about Jennie to someone over the phone.

"Check her again there , Jennie must be just in her dad's house or hospital if he is already weak and about to die. Or wait , check on Lisa Manoban , right I think that's her name. Do a background check and find her address she must be there if not on her father"

"Aheeeem ."

"Jisoo?"

"Yeah , why do you have to find Jennie?she's not talking to you?that's not very her."

"I don't like the tone of your voice"

"Aunty I know everything"

"I know that you kidnapped her with the help of Kai"

"Haha what kidnap?you two are really cousins.I'm her mom and I know what's best for her. "

"Best? So Kai is your best partner in crime? A kidnaper and a rapist!"

"What did you say?"

"Huhhh.. are you acting now?"

"I don't know what you're talking about .."

"Haha figure it out . I can't believe you're clueless"

"Wait... What ? Don't tell me?"

"Yes, he tried to rape Jennie and you know what more?when she tried to escape here, he locked her on his place"

"No, he can't do that. Kai has been gentle and sweet to Jennie . Don't make this nonsense stories "

"Here."

I showed her a video of Jennie running from the condo corridor from Kai's place and he is chasing her. I got it from Irene , she got all the evidence ready to sue Kai. She wants to wait for Jennie as she promised to face Kai and file a case after she fix  something and make sure her dad is okay. 

Aunty is left speechless while watching . Tear fell from her cheeks. She's not that bad after all. She was silent for couple of minutes. Her maid gave her water which I help her with to drink. She's more calm now and I see fire in her eyes.

"Where's Kai?"

"He is in the hospital . Irene wants him healed first so he can't sue them back for physical injury and attempted murder. "

"I'm so thankful of you and Irene . Thank you for protecting my daughter"

"Irene did help her but not me. I didn't do much , when she was about to get raped Lisa stopped and knocked out Kai. She even sent him to jail but bailed out as Jennie didn't bother to file a case . But this time , be her armor. Protect her , you should be first one to do this for your daughter. "
