"Fitnat, listen to me, this man is a liar and a thief. He deceived us. I'm begging you, as a friend, don't shop here anymore while he is the owner."
Mevkhibe, Nihat and Melihat were all standing outside Ihsan's shop, stopping every one who wanted to go inside. Fitnat was number 7.
"Only for you, Mevkhibe. I'll find another store."
"Thank you."
"See you later."
"Hey!" They turn and find Ihsan in the door. "What do you think you're doing?! You're driving my customers away!"
"But you said it's a free market economy didn't you? If they want to shop here they will," Mevkhibe says with a sly, too sweet smile. "There's nothing I can do if they choose to find another store."
"Well said Mevkhibe," Nihat winks at her, chuckling. She nods with a warmer smile for him.
"Get out of here with your free market and all! Stop standing around in front of the store acting or you'll answer to me!" He walks closer.
"First of all, this is a neighborhood street, not the store, we can stand here all day if we want," Nihat challenges.
"He's right," Melihat nods, "and I, as part of the neighborhood support the fact that no one will support you, Jackal Ihsan!"
"Just look at all of you," Ihsan shakes his head, "you're acting like children!"
"Step away Ihsan, or I'll cut off your feet!" Mevkhibe says through her teeth. "Leave us alone."
"Ah ha!" They all turn to the other side, where Aysun was pointing at them, on her way over. "Just who do you people think you are?! How much more disrespectful can you get?!" She stops in front of them. "It wasn't enough to humiliate us the way you did was it?! You have to try and rob my son too?!"
"What are you talking about? We didn't try and rob anyone, who said we - " Mevkhibe narrows her eyes. "Nihat, get this woman away from me, I swear I'm on the verge of doing something bad and I don't want to."
"Alright Mev - "
"Oh of course! You know nothing! You lost the store and asked my son to buy it back for you." Nihat frowns, his lips pursed. "Look at me, Mevkhibe Aydin, it will not happen! Over my dead - "
"Aysun!" Nihat bellows, his face turning red and Aysun stares at him with wide eyes. "Watch your words! We didn't ask for anyone's money, and we don't need anyone's money or property!" Nihat nods at the store. "Except for the store. That's ours."
"Aysun - "
"What?!" she asks, turning around to a smiling Ihsan.
"I welcome you to my store! And for you, I'll make a 20% discount on everything, and another 10% on cleaning products! Won't you come in?"
Aysun narrows her eyes at him then looks at the three watching. Melihat was shaking her head, mouthing for her not to cause trouble and stay out. Mevkhibe glared at her. She gave Mevkhibe a smile and then walks up to Ihsan. "That's just wonderful! Thank you!" she beams and goes inside.
"This woman, she's so spiteful, what kind of neighbor is she huh?"
"The kind that needs my services," Ihsan grins and bows to them.
Mevkhibe kicks off her show and flips it up. "Oh shut up or I'll stuff this in your mouth!" She waves the shoe as he goes in, laughing like a hyena. "I can't believe it! Just to mock me she'll go in there?" She sighs and clicks her tongue before remembering that Nihat had gotten a little worked up. "Oh, darling are you okay?"
