"Have a nice day Mrs Serap!" Nihat smiles as he walks the lady out. "Give that to your son."

"I will, thank you."

He waves at her and then looks across the street. "Rami! Tea!" He sits down and smiles again when he sees Mevkhibe walking towards him with a covered bowl, greeting Serap on her way over. "Mevkhibe!" She stops smiling. "Welcome my love! I was just starting to get a little pecky!" She holds out the bowl. "Oh darling, I can't wait, I even ordered tea for when you bring the kofti." She blinks, just looking at him, waiting. "Is this all or are there more servings to come?" he asks gleefully. "Because I am starv - "

Nihat pauses, staring at the now opened bowl. It wasn't kofti, or cutlets. It was broccoli. He looks at her, his mouth popping open. She lifts her brows and looks down at the broccoli.

"What is this Mevkhibe?"

"Broccoli. Boiled broccoli."

"What happened to the kofti?"

Mevkhibe sighs sadly. "It turned into a little cloud and evaporated in the sun like a dream." She looks at him dryly. "It wanted to help you get into shape, to get thin and get rid of your belly." He pouts down at the bowl. "Enjoy!" She says perkily, turning around. "That's what you'll be having from now on! Broccoli!"

Nihat stares at his retreating wife and then lifts his shoulders. "What did I do wrong now?" he asks. Rami brings his tea. "Rami, here. Broccoli. Enjoy it. Have a snack while you run around." Nihat sits down when Rami takes the bowl with raised brows and then looks towards his house. "Oh Mevkhibe."

Aylin taps her nails on the table impatiently, waiting for Emre to arrive.

When he finally walks in, greeting the hostess of the restaurant, she perks up and smiles at him, standing up.

"Sit down," he says before she can try to hug him or even greet him.

"No need to be so rude."

"What happened? Why did you call me?" he asks with disinterest.

She sits back down, pursing her lips. She really thought he would be over his little tantrum from the night before.

"Well?" Emre prompts impatiently, "I'm listening, speak."

"Welcome, sir, what can I get you?" A waiter steps up to their table, looking at Emre only as Aylin already had a cup of coffee.

"Nothing for me, thank you." The waiter leaves after being dismissed and Emre looks at her again, waiting for her to answer.

"Alright, look, I saw the engagement ring that you bought for me and I got excited. Then at the camp, when I saw you holding Sanem's hand...I thought there was something between you two. I lost my temper and got jealous okay? I wanted to get revenge on you and your brother because I felt hurt. Emre, I'm sorry."

Emre shakes his head. "Aylin and her revenge. Revenge and its Aylin. What a pair you make." He looks at her a moment, as if decyphering something then says, "You're so beautiful."

Aylin smiles at him. I knew he wouldn't just push me aside like -

"That's why it's so hard to believe that you can be this angry and vengeful all the time underneath that beauty."

She stops smiling. What?

"How did we get here Aylin? How did I get here? How did I become this person?"

"Emre, we're good together. We've always been good together. There's nothing that we can't overcome. We can do anything."

"Except be happy." Emre shakes his head. "When my father fired you... we were supposed to get married back then, but we didn't..."
