Can stares at the printout for the schedule tomorrow, leaning his chin in his right hand. A knock at his door has him looking up.
"Are you busy? Can I come in?" Sanem asks, a cup of tea in her hands.
"No, please, come in." He puts the page down and she walks in.
"I brought you tea," she places it in front of him. He hasn't talked to her yet except for when JJ had his meltdown.
"So we're back to tea again?" he asks and nods. "Okay. Glad to see you've found the way back." Sanem nods. "Why? What happened?"
"Some people have a hard time kicking old habits I'm guess," Sanem blinks sweetly. "It became obvious to me that I am one of them...so yes, I am drinking tea again...Speaking of, I need to go and get my own cup, so excuse me." She turns and walks to the door.
Oh no, no, no, we're not done. "Sanem," Can stands. "Sanem, wait a second."
Sanem stops and turns to him, trying to look anywhere else as he closes the door and looks at her with a frown.
"Why did you take Polen to the cabin?"
Sanem gives a small shrug and then hugs herself, turning and walking to the couch but doesn't sit down. "I..." she swallows. "She was worried about you." She scratches her forehead, wincing with her back to him. "I wasn't sure what to do, so I took her to you."
"Why didn't you call me?" Can asks, groaning silently. "That is my personal space Sanem. A special place, that I keep secret from everyone else. You know that." Sanem nods. "You're the only one I ever took there."
Sanem swallows again, pulling her lips in as she turns to him. Can I believe that? Then again, he doesn't look happy. "Mr Can, I'm sorry. But she was very worried and she wanted to see you. I was also very worried."
"Even so, you should have left the decision of whether Polen comes there or not to me Sanem."
"You're right, I was wrong in doing that, but it all happened really fast, to be honest." Sanem frowns, looking down. "I don't think straight when I'm in a rush."
"Rush? What rush? Why was there need to hurry?" Can shakes his head. "Did you have to get back to Levent, so you decided to just dump her there and leave? Was that it?"
"Maybe," Sanem looks at his desk. His tone was getting her back up. "It's possible that it might have - "
"So you did go with Levent after all?" Can feels ready to go back to his cabin and drink until he passes out. And he's just recovered from his hangover too. "Is that what you're telling me right now?" His anger was flaring up despite trying to push it down and Sanem glares at him.
The office door opens without a knock, and Emre gestures for Polen to enter.
Of course, you're here... Sanem clenches her fists at her sides and turns to look at Polen.
"Good morning Sanem," Polen says with a stiff smile.
"Good morning Polen."
Can groans silently at the interruption as Polen comes and gives him a kiss on each cheek. He tries not look irritated by her show of affection in front of Sanem but he wasn't sure if it worked.
"Big brother?"
"Emre?"
"Can we look at the budget for this shoot together really quick?"
"I'll be right there." Emre nods and leaves. Can sighs and looks at Polen. "Polen, if you need anything, just ask Guliz. She'll help you, okay?"
"Alright," Polen smiles. "Thank you. I have a lot to do, so I'll sit over here and work." Polen walks to his desk and sits down, glancing at Sanem as Can walks through to Emre's office.
