Akif soon passes out not longer after that, having drunk more than half of the bottle himself.
"Just look at him," Can scoffs, "sleeping like the dead."
"Let's wake him up," Metin turns.
"No no," Can waves his hand, leaned back on his chair. "Leave him." Metin shrugs. "Listen, uh, we have an envoy from Nova Fiore coming to check if they want to work with us on Monday." Metin lifts a brow, clasping his hands together. "You probably know that already," Can chuckles, "but I want you to be there. You have to come."
"I am coming but I'll be a bit late." Can frowns in question. "The woman's foundation I'm working with is being closed down. I have to help them deal with that first."
"What woman's foundation?"
"It's an activist group kind of thing. They help women get work, deal with their rights and so on." Metin sighs. "They appealed to another more well known foundation for support, to help them branch out but they don't have enough funding so it didn't pan out."
Cann sits up more. This sounded like an interesting case he knew nothing about until now. It was the kind of thing he suppirted after all, so why hasn't Metin mentioned it?
"They've helped a lot of women, Can, it's a pity that they're hitting a wall."
"Why didn't you tell me before? We could have made something happen. In fact, we will."
"No, Can, it's not that easy, it's too expensive of a campaign, to get them back on track...No company wants to take that on."
Can narrows his eyes. Metin shakes his head, knowing that look very well. "Let me take care of it, okay? I'll even take the photos for the campaign myself if the costs amount to too much."
Metin blinks, staring at him. "Are you serious? You'll do this?" When he brought it up he was just telling him his problems. He never thought about asking his friend for help, but he realizes he was stupid not to. He knew Can after all.
"Of course. Why not? We'll think of the perfect way to show what they do, take some pictures and then advertise. Everything we make we'll give to them. We won't take a cent."
Metin grins. "You're an amazing man Can Divit," he rushes over and hugs Can who laughs but pats his back. "The publicity from your photos alone will be enough to get them going again. The only problem we'll have is the printing costs. Your name is going to be on them, they'll be ruthless."
Can snorts. "You realize the person who can do all of that without being ruthless is unconscious at the moment," Can points at Akif, snoring next to Metin.
Metin stares at Can vacantly for a second and then he slaps Akif's arm to try and wake him.
"Oi! Akif!" Can calls his name and whistles through his fingers.
"Huh...what happened? She's going to kill me, is she coming?" Akif asks drowsily. "She's coming, Semra is coming," he groans drunkenly and pushes himself up. "I have to go I have to - "
"Relax, you're safe buddy, I promise," Can laughs. "But I have to talk to you so wake up." Akif yawns and then almost tilts to the side. Metin catches him and helps him up.
"I'm listening," Akif mumbles.
"We're going to do a good deed my friend, with your help, of course." Akif blinks, frowning at the three Cans. "I'll take photos for free and you'll print and out them on billboards for free. Yes?"
Akif nods, "Yes," he blinks again. Can grins. "I'll go with you to the grave..." Akif burps. "I'll do anything you want but it's up to me...that's my point...I say it..." He tries to stand. "I have to go home...she's coming..."
