Nasa office ako ngayon. I'm preparing myself for a meeting na magaganap sa conference room. Narinig ko na lang na may kumatok sa pintuan.

"Excuse me, Ms. Lorine…" sumilip sa pintuan si Gian, my employee. "Naghihintay na po sila sa conference room," aniya.

"Oh." Dali-dali agad akong gumalaw at nilagay na lahat ng gamit ko sa aking bag. "Wait, susunod ako, Gian…"

Pagkatapos non ay sabay kaming naglakad papunta doon. My God! Nakakahiya, late na ba ako?

I wore my work outfit. Green trouser pants with my white tube. Sinamahan ko na rin ng gray coat para hindi masyadong revealing. It looked good.

Pinagbuksan ako ng pintuan ni Gian. Tumahimik ang lahat nung pagpasok ko sa loob. I confidently walk to my spot seat while the others are preparing for their PowerPoint presentation.

Binati rin nila ako pabalik sunod na umupo.

Isang minuto ang lumipas ay nireport na nila sa board ang updates ng restaurant from the sales and other things that needed to be discussed. Nakikinig lang ako habang tinitingnan ang mga papers na laman ng percentage of sales.

Lumipat agad ang tingin ko kay Franco. "May ibang umangkin? Engr. Casas was the only engineer that I ever trusted. Bakit niyo hinayaang may ibang makaangkin? Hindi ba sakanya niyo binigay ang proposal natin?" I raised my brows. Umiba agad ang pakiramdam ko.

They didn't follow my instruction!

Kinuha ko agad ang papel na hawak niya.

I froze. Gulat ang sumalubong sa akin. Parang akong naestatwa sa nabasa.
