She slowly dawdles into the front gates of the university, looking up at the huge structure before her. It's a magnificent building with beautiful architectural pieces surrounding the grounds. It has these massive glass windows, framing the mingling stressed students as they move from class to class on the upper floors. She remembers reading about the internationally recognised programs available at this facility, and the huge cafeteria filled with restaurants, created by the hospitality programs, full of delicious food.
This is the university she will be attending.
Honestly, when Jimin told her Hoseok enrolled her into a university, she was expecting it to be a small local one with decent facilities and programs. But this would probably be considered an elite University, especially considering how many foreigners are walking around. How did they afford such an expensive place? How much is all this going to cost?
They wouldn't have enrolled me if it wasn't doable, Luna nods, agreeing with herself.
This morning she is wearing some black jeans, a plain black T-shirt, and a black leather jacket. This jacket was her mother's favourite jacket before she died. It is the only thing she has to remember her. Her entire wardrobe contains different variations of black. It's the only colour she has really worn. Slowly, she will introduce colour to her appearance as she works on finding her true identity.
Her first stop is the front office so she can confirm her enrolment with the admin staff and receive her timetable. She heads straight there, giving the staff her name before listening to them list off the requirements and expectations of this place. The usual confirmation rubbish places like this do.
Her favourite thing about this entire place is how similar it is to a high school in the class structure. Each person has their set classes for their chosen degrees and certifications on top of any additional classes they wish to take. Luna chose English as one of her extra classes, along with a few others. Her entire university experience is going to take 3 years from her life. But it's worth it.
She has heard people complain about how school sucks and that they hate every second of it. But she has never been more excited for anything in her life, other than touching down in Korea a week ago. She can finally live a normal life; a nice simple life where her only worries are grades and petty drama, rather than life and death.
For the moment, however, she is going to keep to herself. Can't have lawyer-worthy grades if she's too busy trying to have a social life, right?
She didn't request to enrol in any variations of the law degrees because she wants to try it first. So, she is just studying for a bachelor's in criminology. Who knows, maybe she will enjoy it and become a Lawyer, or she will drop out and do something else. The options are endless! So many options!
She has never had the option of... well, options, before in her life. It was simply 'go do this' or 'go kill them' and 'hunt them down' for her entire life; she never had opportunities or decisions. Just do.
She bows to the admin staff when they are finished and moves further into the school, admiring all the modern designs and the calm environment. Everyone is slowly making their way to their classrooms as the start of the school day slowly draws nearer.
Today, her first class is Intermediate English, in building 7 on the second floor. You would think that a person who essentially grew up in an English-speaking country would be starting in advanced English, right? Sadly, when Jimin had her do the English tests to enrol in the class, she messed up for the first time in her life. It was such a simple question too, but now she is stuck in intermediate. But she doesn't really care. She's only doing the class to have proof that she is essentially fluent in English.
