"Maybe you should take a break. You haven't gotten any sleep ever since your nightmare. You'll need it for your test later." Tyler said.

"I'm fine, Tyler. You're still working even though you haven't gotten any sleep either. All of us actually. But here we are." Shelby shrugged.

Tyler smiled at her. "It's not that busy today. But I guess you're right about that. Let us know if you need anything."

He had a nice smile

"Will do." Shelby smiled back.

Tyler turned around and made his way over to Jodi. She was sitting in the opposite end of the room drinking the milkshake that Chase had made her. Jodi watched as Tyler sat right in front of her. And the two smiled at each other.

Tyler's smile was a lot bigger when he was around Jodi. He showed off his teeth more. And similar to how Jodi's cheeks would turn red, his would too. Shelby also noticed Jodi's smile. It was cute. Especially when there was a milkshake right in front of her. She seemed to smile more with the milkshake than with Tyler. It was even cuter. Shelby tried to be happy for them. It was just difficult to hide her jealousy.

"You look upset. Is everything alright?" Riley asked.

"What are you talking about? I'm not upset." Shelby said. She looked away from the two and went back to her work.

"But you look sad?" Riley frowned.

"I'm just tired. Not sad. It's been a long couple of days."

"I guess you're right. I feel like I could fall asleep on the grill." He joked.

"That sounds like something Chase would do."

"Wouldn't be surprised if he did."

The two laugh. Shelby now felt a lot better.

"You look pretty tired. Well, now that I'm seeing it, you all look pretty tired." Jodi said.

"It's been a busy night. Lots of extra work to do here." Tyler explained.

"I see. Luckily it doesn't seem too busy." Jodi knew it had to involve the pillow. With how tired they all seemed, it was sure to tire them more during a fight. She was sure Heckyl could use this to his advantage.

She looked around the cafe. Shelby looked like she was sure to fall asleep. But she looked the most awake out of everyone. But she knew about Shelby's test happening later today. It would hurt her to have another distraction from her studying.

"You guys need your rest. I'll stop by later today."

"Are you sure? You don't have anything planned for the day, do you?"

"No, I don't mind stopping by later. If you're alright with that."

"Of course." Tyler smiled. "We close early today. But maybe we can hang out for a little bit right after."

"I'd like that." Jodi smiled, her cheeks turning red again. Jodi stood up from the table, her keychain falling as she picked up her bag. "Not again."

Tyler leaned down and picked it up. "The clasp is broken."

"I was so sure I fixed that." Jodi groaned. "I'll have to get it checked out again."

"I'm sure it'll be easy."

Tyler handed it back to her, his hand touching hers in the process. Jodi felt her heartbeat pick up again from the touch. "I-I'll see you later." She felt her face burning up from the stuttering.

"Later." Tyler smiled.

Jodi waved goodbye and left the cafe, feeling suddenly angry at herself for what she was feeling.

"Your heart is beating quite fast." Spite noticed.

"I know. I just don't know how to stop it." Jodi said angrily as she clasp the keychain back onto her bag.

"But isn't it broken?"

"All the better if it gets lost." Jodi grabbed her phone and began to call Heckyl.

"How nice of you to call and check up on me. Now what is it you need?"

"The Ranger's look awfully tired. Must have been the pillow you gave to Shelby." Jodi said.

"I'm a genius." Heckyl said.

"With how tired they seem, I suggest letting out some vivix in the city to tire them out more."

"I like the way you think."

As Jodi walked out of the museum, she spotted Ivan making his way to the back of the museum. "Give me five minutes. Then you can let them out. We'll talk later."

She hung up the phone and put it back into her bag. "You have a pillow with you, correct?" Jodi asked.

"Why do you ask?"

~

Ivan let out a yawn as he hopped into the truck.

"Tired?"

"Just a little bit." Ivan mumbled. He quickly realized that he didn't recognize the voice. He turned around to find Spite standing right behind him. "You!"

"You might want to keep quiet. I don't want the other's knowing I'm here."

"As if I would do what you say."

Ivan quickly morphed and swung his blade at her. But Spite was quick to block the hit. Before he could call for the others, a pillow had suddenly touch the side of his face. He let out another yawn, and slowly began falling down.

"Well that was easy." Jodi said as they switched back.

She suddenly heard a weird buzz come from Ivan. "Ivan, there's vivix in the city. We need your help."

"Should we wake him up?" Spite asked.

"Just a sec." Jodi hopped into the van and hid the pillow behind a few of the buns. "Just to make them panic a bit." She smirked.

She hopped out of the van and made her way to Ivan, lightly nudging him with her foot to wake him up. "Huh?" He mumbled. "Vivix?"

"Let's go get some ice cream for now."
