Arc 1: The Long Winter
Chapter 5: Humanity
Looking out the window snowflakes fall from the sky. The already snow-covered village of Ledusberg was getting even more snow.
Andersen had been watching the town of Ledusberg from one of the windows on the second floor of Ashray's house for the past five days.
It will soon be one week since Andersen arrived in this place. Andersen looks around the room as he walks away from the window. He noticed what he was looking for and proceeded to move toward it.
An oval mirror almost his height was affixed to the wall. He undresses, unbuttons his white shirt, and murmurs a phrase.
" Uncover."
The previous spotlessly clean body has two marks on it. The two marks on his body protected by the mage craft were confirmation of his contract with his two masters.
A mocking smile was mirrored in the mirror as Andersen buttoned his clothes once again.
In this reality, it would shortly be one week. His two masters have not yet found him or there would have been no need for them to find Andersen.
The Chaldea, on the other hand, could simply arrive in whatever singularity, lost belt, or period they desired via Rayshift. With so little time passing in the Chaldea Organization, Fujimaru Ritsuka and Gudako may pick up Andersen at any time.
Aside from retrieving him, there was a slew of other issues that needed to be addressed. More serious matters, like another singularity or a lost belt.
Andersen wouldn't blame them if they prioritized saving the world over rescuing Andersen, who was trapped in this realm.
Saving the world was more important than retrieving a lost low tier servant.
Twisted Wonderland is the name of this location... A location that may be inspired by his world's fairy tales. Fairy tales are history and the truth in this place.
Andersen had learned a lot about twisted Wonderland from reading the books in Ashray's room for the past few days.
It doesn't matter to him whether rescuing Andersen takes a long time.
Andersen, on the other hand, would regard his relocation to this location as a work vacation.
This is a fantastic opportunity for him.
Even though his masters hadn't needed him for months, Andersen was exhausted every day, and he frequently went without sleep.
If it wasn't because he was writing a book or had an idea for a new story, it was due to the antics of the other servants in Chaldea.
There was no such thing as a tranquil day at the Chaldea Security Organization. Every day was hectic and noisy.
Even if Andersen spent his days holed up in the library, employing his territory-creation ability, all manner of trouble comes knocking on his door.
When it came to him being interrupted while writing manuscripts, the number one problem was William Shakespeare, who would always come barging into exchange notes and challenging Andersen
Miss Murasaki Shikibu is the second source of trouble. She has a great demeanor and is an excellent conversationalist. She, like him and Shakespeare, was an author. However, her clumsiness caused problems for the state library.
Child servants are the third source of problems. Jack, Nursery Rhyme, Paul Bunyan, Abigail, Alexander, youngster Gil, Voyager, and Paris. (The God of Love Kama is not competent to be labeled a kid servant like him.)
Andersen doesn't mind the child servants and would occasionally entertain them by reading fairy tales and telling stories to them. But it was too much when they became demanding and began throwing tantrums like typical spoilt children.
During those times, Andersen would like to kick them out of their library. Unfortunately, all of those Child Servants outnumber him. He could only appease them and refrain from saying anything nasty that would make all those child servants cry.
Child servants, unlike adult servants, would be easily agitated by his harsh comments. They would be more prone to emotions and unable to regulate themselves because they are youngsters.
Other problems would include the servants who would occasionally visit the library. All kinds of troublesome servants would disrupt the serenity and tranquillity of his temporary refuge.
And for the trouble that Andersen was most concerned about. It came from the fat cow demon woman and her second manifestation.
That woman told their Master that she disliked Andersen and felt uncomfortable whenever his name was mentioned. She was uneasy in his company.
Despite her reservations, she continues to seek his companionship. The vulgar and filthy lady is a masochist because she continues to crave his presence.
Later, Andersen discovered that a different version of himself had met the woman and become her servant. He has stated that Andersen from the other time and place
are not the same as himself. The filthy obese cow continues to search and bother after the explanation.
Sesshouin Kiara was a cruel and ugly woman.
But he doesn't despise her or her other guise.
Humans are repulsive animals and beings. They are repulsive, disgusting, and filthy.
Andersen does not despise people.
He was only stating facts.
Andersen thinks himself a human even if he is no longer a human but a servant or heroic spirit.
Someone with a filthy, trashy, and scumbag mentality.
He, like them, was filthy and disagreeable to the core.
It wasn't self-hatred, but rather a direct and casual result of his self-observation.
Under his talent for human observation, not even himself would be spared from his venomous tongue.
There were occasional exceptions, such as children or his two masters. He couldn't help but be a little lenient towards them.
As long as he had his masters' command seals, he knew they weren't giving up on him.
Andersen would either wait or find a way to return himself.
He'd choose the former because he was on vacation.
Andersen was curious about what the Twisted Wonderland could offer him. He was curious as to how the humans of this world would differ from those of Earth or are they the same disgusting to the core inside and out?
