Arc 3: The Start of Troublesome Year

Chapter 20: Chaos cause by Misunderstandings

       After teaching literature to Night Raven College's first-year students, Andersen decided to return to the Ramshackle Dormitory, also known as Andersen's current place of residence.

When Andersen arrived at the house, he was greeted by Dire Crowley, who was being given tea by a character Andersen had written and summoned. The servant is a minor character in his short story, The Tinder Box, and is only known as Servant.

"What are you doing here?"

When Andersen arrived at Ramshackle with Enma Yuuken, he asked the headmaster. The third-rate caster also saw that Kuroki Yuuya, Hirasaka Yuuka, and Yuu were not present within the Ramshackle.

However, Andersen spots a person seated on the chair next to the headmaster in the Ramshackle Lounge Room.

It was the individual the headmaster had kidnapped during lunchtime without his permission. Mr. Riddle Roseheart, the Heartslabyul Housewarden.

When Riddle noticed his arrival, he stood up and bowed.

"Greetings, Professor Andersen."

After Andersen acknowledged his presence, Riddle returned to sitting on his designated chair.

Enma and Andersen took a seat opposite from them, after noticing some vacant chairs. Eventually, the headmaster replied to Andersen's inquiry.

"You must be wondering where the other residents of the Ramshackle are. Earlier, with Mr. Roseheart's help, I managed to locate the perpetrators of the burning of the woods behind the Campus."

Crowley proceeded after sipping his drink.

"The first suspect is Grim, whom I and Mr. Roseheart found seeking solace from Mr. Kuroki, Mr. Yuu, and Ms. Hirasaka."

From his seat, Riddle frowned.

"I must have misheard the headmaster." '

"For the second suspect, with Mr. Roseheart's commitment, we managed to identify the 1st year heartslabyul as Mr. Ace Trappola. Both of the troublemakers have been sent to clean the windows around the campus after the lunch break. Mr. Kuroki and the others decided to take responsibility for Grim's actions, so they helped clean the windows."

"I see. If things went well, I wouldn't see your atrocious presence at the moment, headmaster."

Crowley was slightly annoyed when he heard Andersen's statements. On the other hand, Riddle was torn between feeling offended by the headmaster and responding to Professor Andersen's scathing statements.

However, Professor Andersen is a professor. If an authority figure criticized the professor for his actions, it would be disrespectful and contradictory to the teachings Riddle received.
