Wol-yeong wasn't sure what to expect from his girlfriend when he came by her home to see if she wanted to get breakfast before both of them started their day at their human jobs. He knew she was out until late last night and hadn't spoken much about what happened after the hospital, so he was a bit worried that it was more emotionally taxing than usual.
So when he saw the female Gumiho sitting next to her door, legs crossed and pouting, he was a bit more than stunned. The fox looked up at him, not even hiding that she was checking him out, and did some fox purr sound at him.
"You're handsome. How did Gayoung land you when she's so not fun?" She asked, looking at the door with a frown.
Wol-yeong ignored her words as he knocked on his girlfriend's door. He could hear her inside with someone else—the sound of her rushing over to the door was all he heard—until she actually opened the door, and he automatically smiled upon seeing her face.
"Hi, babe," Wol-yeong greeted her, leaning in for a quick peck.
"Hey," She greeted him back, returning the gesture. She then looked at the female Gumiho, who was sitting next to her door and pouting like a child. "We're done, so take your... whatever you are to each other and go."
"Aww, Yongie. You don't have to pretend just because your boyfriend is here. We're great friends," Rang said, standing behind Gayoung. He smirked at Wol-yeong and held up a hand as a greeting. "Hey, hyung."
Wol-yeong wasn't sure how to approach Lee Rang since they first met years ago through Gayoung. He knew the two were a strange case of friends and only acted as such in private, but the jarring difference from how they were yesterday, hating each other, to now casually hanging out made him feel like he was missing several memos.
"Hi, Rang," He greeted him back. He then looked at the female Gumiho, who had been staring at him but was now staring down Rang. "Is this something I should ask about, or should I just leave it alone?"
"Leave it. Rang and I just needed to have a chat, and his... friend insisted on coming along despite knowing my one Gumiho at a time rule," Gayoung explained to Wol-yeong.
Rang snickered at her words, finding her fake annoyance at him amusing, before walking past her and holding his hand out to Ki Yu-ri. She grabbed his hand, standing up with his help, and then brushed off her skirt.
"Why did you want to come here so badly? We should have stayed at the fun-" Yu-ri was cut off by Rang glaring at her. She looked over at Gayoung, who was staring her down as she waited for the fox to finish her sentence. "We could have partied and had fun."
Gayoung made it obvious that she didn't believe her but didn't press the issue any further. She hiked up her Italian leather shoulder bag and locked her door behind her. She held Wol-yeong's hand, feeling him tug closer to her, and she looked at the two foxes who were already down the hall, taking the other exit out of the building.
