"Why are you still here?" Lee Rang immediately asked Gayoung. He figured her loving boyfriend would have came to take her away by now. He was actually counting on it. "Where's hyung? You should be off the island by now so why aren't you?"

Gayoung looked up at him, closing her book, and put it to the side. She was sitting on Pyung Hee's minuscule porch, Yeon had left to tend to something in town, and she had no idea where Ji-Ah went. She sent Rang a message saying to find her and then they'd talk, a shot in the dark really, but considering how quickly he showed up proved her suspicions.

"You had something to do with this. The deaths, the spirits being gone, risking everything by trying to revive Imoogi to make Yeon pay for his crimes," She said, not sounding surprised. "Are you insane? Have you actually lost your mind? How is your revenge on Yeon that important to you that you'd risk the end of world?!"

She stood up, glaring him down, her clenched fists were shaking with rage as they stared the other down. She couldn't believe at what an idiot he was being. As much as she understood his pain, the abandonment issues caused by Yeon, for f**ks sake she was abandoned on her wedding day because of Yeon, never would she burn the entire world down for revenge. No matter how angry he was, the pain he was in, how was it fair to every innocent soul to suffer because of Yeon and his selfishness?

"You should be on my side, Gayoung!" Rang exclaimed, glaring at her.

"Since when haven't I been on your side?! I still am if you haven't forgotten!" She exclaimed right back. She huffed and spread her arms to gesture to the area. "I'm just failing to see how it's fair to curse the entire planet to death because your brother decided to be a lovesick fool over a damn human girl he met when she was a child!"

"I am willing to go to hell if it meant taking him with me!" Rang yelled, stomping his foot. "He has to pay for his sins Gayoung! You of all beings should agree with that even if we ignore what he did to you! Abandoning his station, preventing a soul from passing on, leaving his forest to be burned down to ashes, I had to kill the dog he gave me because that stupid thing ran back for me! I am owed retribution!"

"I agree with you but at what cost?! How many more innocent's need to die for your plans? How will you pay for your retribution if Imoogi is revived and plunges this country, and the rest of the world into darkness?" Gayoung asked, pressing him for an answer.

She turned her head, taking in a deep breath, slowly letting it all out, and then turned her head back to Lee Rang. He had his back to her, kicking a pebble away into the distance, and was panting to control his anger.
