With rosy cheeks and ruffled hair, Eleanor pulled Luke back towards the house, their fingers interlocked. Sweet laughter meeting the sound of the sea and gulls above them.
The wind tickled around his face, cooling the burning sensations of where her fingertips had been not even five minutes prior.
Slowing in pace, Luke slung his arm around her shoulders and wedged her against him. His lips placed a sweet kiss against her temple and Eleanor closed her eyes momentarily, grateful for the moment she had just shared with him.

Once back inside, Eleanor gave Luke a quick tour of the beach house.
As they entered the bedroom, Luke's eyes excitedly scanned the room, as did Eleanor's. The king sized, white sheets were scattered with rose petals, candles flickered around the room and in the center of the bed lay two small, neatly wrapped gifts with string tied around each one.
Eleanor mentally thanked Chase for the surprise. It was a nice touch.
"Go on, open them" she smiled, nudging him towards him.
"El you've already done so much for me, you didn't need to get me anything" he blushed.
"I wanted to"
Luke smiled and sat down on the edge of the bed, picking up the flattest gift from the two.
Carefully untying the string and peeling back the paper, he saw a CD case. On the front it read : songs for you, from E x. Tracing over the letter with his fingertip, his stomach fluttered.
"You've written me songs?" He clarified, looking straight into her eyes.
She nodded nervously as she bit her lip. "I hope you like them"
Cupping her cheek, he placed a small kiss on her lips, "there is no doubt in my mind sweetheart, thank you, this is- this is very sweet". He stuttered, almost lost for words.
Luke reached for the second gift. Once past the wrapping, Luke opened the blue box and inside he saw some clear acrylic guitar picks. Each one had a different flower pressed inside. On the note it said, I made these for you.
