Operation Barbarossa

1943 to 1944

The justification of war against the Soviet Union was announced to every Central Alliance members and the reason is that the Soviets have planned to invade the Baltic States, which Casia used as an opportunity to invade.

Troops from various nations, who are part of the Central Alliance, gathered at the frontline with the Soviet Union. However, the Borders were Fortified and are Garrisoned quite heavily. This was part of the plans Stalin made along with other advisors from the military.

The plan was to hold the Central Alliance as much as possible, then when they are exhausted, they launched their counterattacks on vulnerable sections of the frontline, thus ensuring a breakthrough.

But what Stalin didn't recognize is that the Central Alliance is technically superior and has a lot of experienced troops on their wars with the Allies.

Not even counting the technological advantages in the form of the military and other necessities for the war.

It wouldn't take long for those fortifications to crumble under the weight of the Central Alliance.

The Plan the Central Alliance had was made by Casia herself, and it included the use of nukes if necessary.

The first phase was the Bombing of those said fortifications with artillery, bombers, and rockets to ensure that those fortifications would collapse. It would be done in Two Days Straight before the push began.

The second phase has varying objectives, and if not reached, a nuclear bomb is all it takes. The objectives are the liberation of Belarus and Ukraine, the capture of Leningrad and Stalingrad .

The third phase is to capture Moscow if not, then the Nuclear Bomb, but it will not get it if Leningrad and Stalingrad were nuked first since the German needed a capital for the Reichskommissariat to effectively control the newly conquered territories.

The Fourth is a scenario if the Soviets continued fighting all the way to the Ural Mountains, meaning the German Reich have to also invade the other part of the Soviet Union past those mountains.

(If the fourth one is to happen, the Waffen SS is assigned to clean up the mess and make sure that no Communists were to survive at all cost)

The Border of the Soviet Union has been bombarded by the Central Alliance for Two Days Straight, causing 400,000 casualties for the Soviet Union while their fortifications were useless.

The Central Alliance pushed slowly as they were building Supply Lines, allowing for the Soviet Union to set up defenses and have their troops in place, but they were not equipped enough to defend against the onslaught

What followed was a massacre for the Soviets while the Central Alliance only took minor casualties due to urban warfare.

The City of Leningrad was captured by the German Reich assisted by Finland and repelled any attempts of retaking it in just 2 months.

Italian troops alongside Romanian troops managed to encircle 200,000 Soviet troops in just a few days, leading to its surrender.

But the way towards Moscow and Stalingrad is increasingly difficult to break through even though the Soviet Union barely has enough to supply its army in the field.

Thus leading to their effectiveness in Combat Dropping low and leading to severe casualties.

9 months have passed, and the frontline is now a stalemate. Bodies of  dead soldiers can be found on every field alongside destroyed tanks and vehicles.

Attempts of the German Panzer Division and Waffen SS to break through the lines were met with extreme resistance from the Soviets.

Even so, the Central Alliance has decided to set up a defensive line, then another one to fall back if needed since if they couldn't get through, then let them bleed on their defenses.

With the defenses, they were able to hold back many counterattacks but were unable to launch any offensives that are successful enough to break the Soviet Lines.

But Casia is now impatient that she is being slowed down and has given authorization for the nukes to be dropped on Moscow and Stalingrad.

As well ordering the frontline to wear protective suits that were made for this possible outcome and prevented them from entering those cities that were nuked.
