After 2 weeks of preparation and reposition of most troops of the German Reich they are ready.
The First attack was launched in the air who bombed most of the fortifications and Cities.
While The First Strike Group immediately moved to take Rome they met extreme resistance from the Italians which was equalized by Olivia who managed to force the Italians to retreat after a very close battle.
While Outnumbered the German Army still made its advanced towards Rome Causing most of the Italian Army to defend the Capital leaving Southern Italy barely Garrisoned.
Which Rommel take as an opportunity to encircle the entire Italian Army that was defending Rome.
Thus Rommel ordered the remaining Armored Cars, Tanks and Infantry to push forward eliminating any resistance as they push forward.
Without the Italian army in Southern Italy after a week the Encirclement was completed and the South was now Occupied by Germans.
While in Rome the Italians fought with everything they had slowing the advance of The First Strike Group thus Olivia ordered all Italians to be killed brutally to reduced morale of the Italian Troops Holding Rome.
With Success as some defected or surrendered willingly.

In A Temporary HQ Near the Outskirts of Rome.
Olivia: Keep The Bombardment of the Fortifications in Rome, I want them Gone.
Officer: Yes, Ma'am.
The Officer Left to Inform the Artillery to continue the Bombardment.
Erika: The Italians are Resisting Huh?
Olivia: Well It's Impressive but not for long.
Erika: Yes you are right, but aren't you doing some atrocities?
Olivia: Huh? What?
Erika: Nothing (Haah... Well it's fine I guess).
Olivia: Anyways Rommel Informed me that He managed to take Southern Italy.
Erika: Huh He Never Informed me but damn.
Olivia: Now that we encircled them it's time to press on them.
Erika: Hmm I will Inform Guderian of our planned assault.

3 Days Passed The Artillery, Bombers kept the Bombardment on Rome which was slowly running out of Food and Ammunitions and Weapons.
Accompanied by Relentless Assault of The First Strike Group the Italian army has taken Heavy Casualties and are now organizing Militias which were not experienced at all.
Worst of all, Guderian managed to punch through the Fortifications along with Olivia who sent a letter of to the Italian Prime Minister.
Who after Reading it and seeing the writing on the wall ordered all remaining Troops, Militias to surrender to the German Army.
