Mauricio Serrano, a young man who was only a year older than Narin. He was quite a feisty character. The boy had brown hair that reached down to the bottom of his ears. Since they were in Mexico, like many people from there, he had a nicely tanned complexion. He was skinny but muscular. He was about six feet tall and had tattoos that covered his entire arms. Serrano knew Narin's work and often helped her, especially with the weapons he traded. The man, sometimes legally and sometimes illegally, sold various types of weapons. He traded not only with assassins, but also with gangsters and ordinary people who were looking for the right tool to protect themselves. He had his own shop and also created new equipment himself.
Recently, he had disappeared for several months, and his long absence, for the first time in a long time, made Narin worry about someone, namely, about him. About Mauricio.
The assassin left her guardian's villa and, with Itzel by her side, quickly made her way to the courtyard, where the trader was waiting for them. After a few minutes, the women arrived.
The man stood with his right hand on his motorcycle and chatted with Candela, who was standing in front of him. The boy was throwing his pick-up lines, which silly Castro easily believed. Brunet loved to tease, but he knew that Narin knew him well enough that she wouldn't believe his simple words.
Hearing footsteps approaching, Serrano stopped talking and looked with a smile at the approaching women. In one second, his gaze lingered on Miss Vazquez, which made the boy even more eager to show his white teeth.
Narin, seeing him whole and healthy, felt a great relief and at the same time a strange warmth in her heart. She hadn't seen him for a long time and feared the worst, but in the end nothing happened to him. The woman at the very beginning wanted to slap him hard in that handsome face, for being the only one, in so many years, that made her worry about someone. Later, however, in her head appeared the desire to hug him and show how happy she was that the man was back. That he came back alive. Vazquez, however, quickly chased away this second thought, she had to behave as appropriately as befits this situation. But, on the other hand, there was nothing to indicate that she couldn't use the first option, which was becoming more and more tempting with each passing moment.
The women were already standing next to the visitor, who was still smiling at the assassins.
At the moment when Mauricio wanted to say something, Narin decided to use the first option and after a moment she punched the man solidly in the face. The boy tilted his head to the side, then laughed softly and massaged the sore spot.
"Nice to see you too, chinita." Brunet said looking at her again.
The black-haired girl huffed and crossed her arms over her chest.
"What took you so long? " She asked, frowning.
Serrano shrugged and sighed heavily.
"Long-term order. " He said, looking into the mulatto's eyes. "But I'm glad I'm back." He bared his white teeth at her again.
Narin said nothing, only shook her head in disbelief.
"So you came here because you have something for us, don't you?" Itzel interjected, which caught his attention. The boy immediately became serious and pulled out his large, black bag, from which he began to take out pistols, rifles and knives one by one.
The two weren't too fond of each other. Itzel tolerated him, however, only because Mauricio had known Narin for a long time. And since her dear reinita values him, she has tried to respect him. But even so, Martinez didn't trust the trader. She thought he was the type of man who would love to sell someone for the right amount of money. The black woman told her friend many times about her suspicions. She felt that this man was a threat to Narin, and she couldn't let anything happen to her.
