"They're catching up with us! " Billy shouted in fear and Narin sped up even more.

For the next few minutes, their opponents wouldn't give up, still chasing them, shooting at them, and they were not going to give up until the escapees were dead.

Vazquez knew there was only one way out of this situation.

Either they or their enemies will die. Narin definitely preferred the second option. Not because of herself, but because she had promised to protect this boy and she wasn't about to fail. She'll carry out this task even at the cost of her own life.

"Hold on. " She said and then turned hard to the right, which Morales had to grab the seat to avoid bumping into his companion. "They'll pay me to shoot at my car. " The mulatto snorted.

"Um, Narin? Do you see what I see? " Brunet asked, looking in the mirror.

The assassin did the same and felt her blood boil, it was too much. The gangsters planned to shoot them with a bazooka.

"Over my dead body. " She shook her head and then turned the steering wheel sharply to the left, making the whole car follow her movement with a loud squeal of tires.

The moment her car was in front of the opponents, Narin reached for her gun and killed the drivers from the two cars, who crashed into each other after a while. The cars exploded along with the people inside.

Even though she managed to get rid of the gangsters who drove first, more kept coming. Looks like their leader has called for backup. She didn't like the fact that she didn't make it to shoot the man with the bazooka, because right now, they were aiming that weapon at them. Against such a tool, they had little chance of getting out of the action alive.

Narin dodged the first shot, turned left again, and the bullet hit an abandoned old store, which exploded with a loud bang a second later.

"We'll die. " Billy said horrified.

"More faith, Bill. " Mulatto girl replied with a smile.

"You're smiling?! Why are you smiling?" He asked confused.

"We're having a so much fun!" She laughed and turned down a side street. The first cars didn't have time to brake and turn behind them, while the next two did.

They drove through narrow streets, on stone floors, in hollows, which made the car jump from place to place. The car itself barely fit in there, the door and sides of the car were scratched.

After a while, they drove out into the open again and almost collided with a truck, but Narin managed to cross the street at the last moment. The first car following them wasn't so lucky and collided with a truck, which pushed its wreckage a few meters away. The other gangsters' cars managed to avoid the accident site with difficulty and continued their pursuit of the assassin and her friend.

"So stubborn. " She shook her head seeing that they were still chasing them.

"What will we do? " Brunet asked quickly but stopped when there was another explosion behind them. The gangsters almost managed to hit the Vazquez car with a bazooka.

"Oh, fuck! " Narin called. "Why does this have to happen to my car?! " She called heartbroken, realizing she had no choice but to sacrifice her car. "All right, Bill, listen! " She glanced at him. "Do exactly as I tell you, do you understand?"

The boy nodded and listened to her plan. Brunet was honestly terrified just thinking about this situation. However, he tried to control his fear as much as possible, otherwise he would die on the spot.

Narin reached over the back of the seat for her large, heavy bag, set it on her lap, and glanced in the mirror again. They're going to shoot them again.
