"Dios, dame fuerzas ... (God, give me strength ...)" The woman whispered to herself.

Narin was still hiding while the four gangsters entered the church and started looking around. Two of them stayed downstairs checking the confessionals while the other two headed for the choir.

The assassin waited for a moment and then in one quick move she got to her feet, shot at the people below and killed them. The other two ran up to her in the choir and started shooting at her but she dodged to the side and then shot herself at one of the attackers. She hit him in the leg.

The mulatto girl had nowhere to hide, so she had only one option left. Jump.

So she did. Narin took a run-up, jumped out of the choir, while turning towards the gangsters and finishing off the other two. As she fell down, she quickly spun around again and landed hard on the ground, on her feet. She felt pain spreading from her feet to the very top, but after a while it passed, and she kneeled to one knee in front of the altar, crossed herself again and kissed the cross she wore around her neck.

"Gracias... " She sighed and then got to her feet.

Moments later, many more hostile people rushed in. Vazquez quickly hid behind the spaced benches, then shot the gangsters herself from hiding place. She managed to kill two of them, but they still outnumbered her and began to circle her.

"Damn it... " She whispered, changing the magazines of the weapon at the same time.

The mulatto girl waited a moment and then sighed heavily and attacked the man who was sneaking up to her from the right side. Narin grabbed his hand, put the gun to his stomach and shot him once in the heart, then a second time in the head. A moment later, she turned to the other opponents and killed the bald one on her left side, then hit the other in the hand. She also got hit in the arm. The black-haired girl crouched, hiding behind the confessional and hissing in pain.

"No tiene ninguna oportunidad contra nosotros, señorita. (You don't stand a chance against us, señorita.)" Their leader called. "Sólo ríndete y danos al chico.(Just give up and give us the boy.)" He said while giving his men directions on how to surround Narin. "You are alone... " He spoke with an accent. "There are too many of us, sweetheart. If you give up now, we can still work things out. " He smiled broadly.

"Señor, you don't seem to know me, do you? " She said, still sitting in hiding. "Sweetheart ... My name is Narin Vazquez! And I'm not going to give up to someone like you! " She called, then ran out of her hiding place and started shooting at them.

She killed the first three men closest to her, while the other three, including the leader, managed to hide.

"Real shame! " The leader shouted from hiding. "And I was hoping we'd get along..."

"Hope is the mother of fools. " Woman replied and undercut the man walking next to the bench behind which she hid. Narin shot him through the foot, which made the gangster cry out in pain, but he fell silent as the mulatto girl shot him in the head from below.

There were still two opponents left and Vazquez was wounded and she was running low on ammo. The assassin waited a moment, wanting to carefully analyze the situation she was in.

Her breathing was rapid and her thoughts focused on her opponents. But Narin didn't know exactly where they were hiding, and that didn't work to her advantage. Alone, she hid behind the wall on the left, in front of the altar. After a moment, something else caught her attention, namely the reflection of a man in the gilded altar. It acted as a mirror through which she knew where her enemy was.

The mulatto reloaded the weapon and then took another breath and aimed at the opponent, while getting up at the same time. But before she could pull the trigger herself, someone overtook her. It was a gangster leader who shot her in the leg, in the thigh, but despite the pain she felt, Vazquez pulled the trigger and hit the enemy in the stomach. Unfortunately, it wasn't a fatal wound for him. At least not at the moment. He could bleed out, but it wouldn't be as soon as Narin hoped. The gangsters were still outnumbered.
