(Sin. We discussed this. I'll be posting the chapters as I wrote them, so apologies for any mistakes or plot holes, thank you.)

Marinette

She giggled, watching Nino on the dance floor. He was breaking out all the latest moves, some of which weren't even popular yet, which had encouraged the giggling.

"My man has the moves doesn't he?"

Alya appeared next to her, and Marinette immediately swallowed her laughter.

"Oh yeah, totally."

Alya narrowed her eyes, before giggling herself.

"He looks a little funny, doesn't he?"

Relieved that Alya wasn't upset she had been laughing at him, she nodded in agreement.

"Just a bit."

"Are you having fun? You haven't been drinking at all. Or talking to anyone. Or dancing. You're just standing here, in the corner."

"I'm a visual learner."

Alya rolled her eyes, taking both of Marinette's hands in hers.

"Remember what we said? Tonight is the night. You're gonna get tipsy enough to tell Adrien how you feel."

"I just can't Alya. Look at him. Every girl in here wants him, and every guy wants to be him."

"The difference between you and those girls Marinette, is that you actually have a shot. Take it."

Alya squeezed her hands, before starting to drag her through the crowd.

"Alya I'm not ready."

"I know. We're gonna do something else to make you ready."

She stopped in front of a fold out table, with nothing but three clear glass fishbowls and a clipboard on it.

"Oh. You know I can't."

Max picked up the clipboard, tapping his pencil against it in anticipation.

"Shall i explain the rules?"

"That's not nec-"

"Of course."

Alya grinned, and Marinette internally groaned.

"Each bowl is labeled with your relationship status. In each bowl are dares. When you chose a dare, you have until one am to complete it. If you fail to complete your dare, your name and your dare will be announced at the end of the night, and you will participate in the ceremonial skinnydip."

Marinette made a face, and Alya slung her arm over her shoulders.

"Don't worry. Most of the dares are stupid. Like taking three shots or something. You've got this. I already picked a dare for me and Nino. We have to go through our phones and pick the most embarrassing photo we have of the other and throw it up on the projector. Scary, but kinda fun."

"I can't."

"It's just to give you a confidence boost. When you complete it you'll feel so accomplished you'll be able to tell Adrien without a single stutter."

Marinette glanced from her to the bowl labeled single, swallowing hard.

"You know, my mother warned me about girls like you. Peer pressure and such."

"I bet your mother didn't tell you how much you'd love me though."

She shook her head, taking a deep breath as she plunged her hand into the bowl. She pulled out a folded sheet of paper, carefully unfolding it. Instead of a dare, like she had expected, all that was written on it was a number.
