Adrien
"Rise and shine princess. We're going shopping."
He sat up, his bleary gaze slowly settling on Marinette's room.
Had she really just called him princess? Why were they going shopping?
Marinette sat up next to him, her blindfold still in place.
"What?" He responded groggily, and Marinette groaned, her hands lazily stretching towards the blindfold.
"Why the hell is she blindfolded? What did you two do?"
Marinette definitely didn't say that. He snapped his head to the side, looking down at Alya and Nino.
Oh. Oh... no.
He looked down at his clothes, remembering he hadn't transformed. Marinette thought Chat was in her bed, and now Alya and Nino knew Adrien was in her bed. He noticed her starting to take the blindfold off. In a panic, he grabbed the pillow at his side, planning on gently pressing it to her face to postpone the reveal, but what happened was a feather coated bitch slap from hell. She fell back on the bed, feathers flying literally everywhere.
"K.O.!" Nino echoed as Alya stared at them in disbelief.
"Oww..." Marinette whined, but luckily didn't try to remove the pillow from her face.
This wasn't supposed to happen. The reveal wasn't supposed to be like this, she wasn't ready. Hell, suddenly he wasn't ready. What if she hated him? What if she told him to leave and never come back? Besides. It was supposed to be a moment between them. Just them, no spectators.
"Can you guys give us a minute?" He squeaked out, and Marinette shifted, blindly feeling for his arm.
"Sure. I can see that Marinette needs to put some pants on. So you'll get your minute. After that, you're both going to tell me how this happened."
He blushed furiously, yanking the blanket back over Marinette's bare legs.
"Yeah, okay."
Alya grabbed Nino by the hand who shot a wink in his direction as he was led away. The trapdoor closed behind them, and he collapsed on the bed next to her.
"Chat? Tell me... tell me you were transformed."
He was going to be sick.
"I'm sorry."
"Oh no." She whined, throwing the pillow off of her face as she sat back up.
"I know. I forgot, and they saw me before I realized. What do you want to do?"
"It's over. Nothing to do now." She replied coldly, as if it was all his fault.
"I know it's earlier than we wanted. But they already know, and they're going to talk about it. I wanted to wait-"
"Sure you did."
"You're the one that wanted me to detransform. Stop acting like I did this on purpose." He snapped, and she scoffed.
"You could have transformed back."
"I was asleep!"
"That's no excuse."
He stared at her in disbelief, before shaking his head as he climbed down from the bed.
"I thought it would be easier for you to digest if it was just us, but clearly you're in no mood for that. So I'm going downstairs. When you get down there, and your friends tell you who I am, keep in mind that you set us up. You asked, and I obliged. I'm not the only one at fault."
