What's Three More Minutes?

Stef's POV

I was so happy to have Lena back. And I was so happy that she could finally have those rights back. We would have to go to San Diego for the court day, but at least it would be official and permanent, and hopefully, this would bring some ease to her mind.

We arrived home like thirty minutes later and we came in. My mother then got up from the couch and look at both of me and Lena, raising her eyebrow so damn high in the air.

"Aren't you supposed to be with some Helene woman?" My mother asks as I sighed deeply.

"Well, as you can see mother, I wasn't." I said giving her a look, for I don't think this feels good to Lena.

"Oh... I thought. So... does that mean you two came to your senses?" She couldn't help but ask as I sigh even more and Lena just smiled wide at her for, she couldn't be annoyed, it was MY mother.

"Okay, thank you ma, for watching over Frankie." I said to make her understand that she has to leave so I can make love to the woman next to me. I don't have to say more for we understand each other with our eyes just fine as she winked at me, making it so damn obvious as she smirks.

"You two are so entertaining, it's like watching a telenovela, I love it!" she said, getting her purse, laughing like a crazy woman as usual as Lena couldn't help but laugh as well, as I rolled my eyes.

"Love you ma." I sigh as I close the door behind her, as she kept laughing all the way out.

"You encourage her way too much." I smile to Lena as she giggled and come into my arms again.

"Well, I'm sorry, but she's funny. Besides, she's not totally wrong, our story does sound like a telenovela."

"What? You watch that?" I asked mortified, for my mom watching it was enough already.

"Well... it happens. You get caught up very easily in those things, you know." she said justifying herself which I found so cute.

"Yeah, let's get caught up in something else my love." I said seductively, burying my face in her neck, laying a few kisses as she giggled.

With that, I grabbed her hand, and pulled her into my bedroom with me, trying to be as quiet as possible.

We got in bed, and laid face to face, just smiling at each other for a while, getting lost in each other's eyes as I was thinking about how great it feels to have her near me like that, and just how much I missed that closeness between us.

After a while, we both lean in to close the gaps between us, but we didn't had time, we got interrupt but since it was Frankie, we both smiled softly.

"Mommy? I had a bad dream." I heard my little baby say in her sleepy voice, as she come by me next to the bed her eyes barely opened and with her little blanket in her hand.

"Aww, my love. Come here. Monsters again, hum?" I said gently as she nods and got in the bed, passing over me to be on the other side like she always does, but Lena was here.

"Mama? What are you doing here?" she said surprised but still in the fog.

"Just a sleep over baby. You have to sleep now, okay." I said, diffusing the question for I didn't know how to answer it yet.

"Okay. More protection against monsters." She said while yawning which was so cute.

"Good night my love." Lena said softly, kissing her daughter's forehead as Frankie grabbed my arm and Lena's and put them around her.

"Good night moms." She said still in her sleepy voice as she closed her tiny little eyes and mostly drove off to sleep immediately as I look at Lena that shrugged her shoulders and smile as me as I did as well, for that was going to be the best night ever, with my two loves.
