Trinity's POV

Holy crap it's the end of the season! I can not believe it! I've gone through so many boxes of tissues, haha... I'm ready to see him, but is he ready to see me?! What do I wear for something like this? Oh, I know! I'll wear the jersey he recently gave me. Number eleven, Januzaj!

I pulled the red top over my head and checked myself out in the mirror. I wore beige coloured high waisted shorts, they had two buttons that were near my stomach and were rolled up once at the bottom. I decided I would wear just a pair of running shoes along with the outfit.

I made my way into the bathroom. I switched on the light and brushed my hair, after braiding it. I put in a thin headband and some mascara just to make my look better. I wanted to look nice for Adnan. We haven't seen each other in a while, so the first thing I want him to notice is how I look. Also, it makes me feel good to put on makeup sometimes; I guess you could say it makes me feel "pretty". Then again, Adnan always makes sure I feel that way.

"Mom," I yelled, heading out the door, "I'm going to the Manchester United game! Be back in a few!"
"What?!"

I heard the footsteps and felt the ground rumble as Savannah stomped her way over to me.

"How did you get tickets?! The game is practically sold out, since it's their last of the season!"
"I got one."
"One?! Just one?! How about me?!" She whined.
"Savannah, I'm sorry... Not!" I stuck my tongue out and she looked at me in shock. "If you wanted to go then you should've gotten tickets."

I folded my arms across my chest and tapped my foot waiting for her to reply.

"Since when did you become interested in football," she snorted.
"Obviously you haven't been paying attention lately."
"And when did you even get that jersey, it better not be mine!"
"It's mine."
"Turn around."
"Why?"
"If it says "Januzaj" then it's obviously mine and you took it."

I turned around to leave and get out of the house.

"Hey, that's mine! You took it!"
"Nope. As a matter of fact, here's the tag I forgot to rip off."

I yanked at the tag and pulled it off of my jersey. Not her jersey. She gave me a blank face like she didn't know what to do or say.

"Enjoy watching the game!" I called.
"Would've better enjoyed it if I was there!"

She was screaming, but I had already closed the door in her face. I had a train to catch. The game wasn't at Old Trafford, so we were away meaning we had to travel. Screw it, I didn't care. I'd go a thousand miles if it meant seeing Adnan.

*****

The train ride was long and boring. Luckily, I had brought my headphones and listened to music. I listened to "Lean On" by Major Lazer and DJ Snake and also, "Dum Dee Dum" by Keys n Krates . My playlist consisted of a few other songs, too.

Once I arrived at the stadium, I knew it wasn't going to be like watching a game back in Manchester. It was going to be much different. There was a bunch of Hull City fans who were obviously cheering for their team. I got settled in my seat and looked around on the pitch. All familiar faces on the Manchester United side. I looked around and quickly spotted the face I had longed to see. Adnan was dressed in his red track top and wore his black track pants. Damn, he's hot. And he's mine.

Woah. I. Actually. Have. A. Hot. Boyfriend.

The whole game I did nothing but think about Adnan. I was hardly paying attention to what was happening on the field. I just sat there staring at Adnan. I wanted to just hug him so bad. I missed him. I loved him. When the final whistle blew, I practically jumped out of my seat. The game ended in a draw, but that was fine for me. I shoved and pushed people out of the way, oops. Most people gave me dirty looks and even a little push back. Nothing was going to stop me.

The security guards lined the field, making sure no one would pass. Who cares! I darted past them and ran towards Adnan. I knew some of them turned around to stop me, but it was too late. I jumped into Adnan's arms and wrapped my legs around him. He held me up by my waist. I stared into his hazel eyes and kissed him. He passionately kissed me back. We hadn't seen each other in so long and this was finally the moment we had nothing been waiting so long for.

His teammates were smirking at us when he put me down. I still cling onto him and hugged him tight. I wasn't letting go. We walked off the field, still hugging, and the security guards approached us.

"Januzaj-"
"It's ok, she's with me."

We walked away from the screaming crowds. It was a great way to end the season.
