His Girlfriend

Luke

I wake up at 5 pm. Wow I slept a long time. How did I do that?

I walk over to Alana's room and she is just getting out of the shower. "Oh my God! Get out!" She yells. "I just woke up and came to check on you, didn't mean to see anything I promise! Sorry." I say snd close the door. The date. I have a date with Alana tonight. This is gonna be so much fun!

I go take a shower and clean myself. I can't wear anything fancy today. I pull out a pair of pants and a t shirt. I'm going to wear my cams today. I then fix my hair and wait for Alana downstairs.

Alana

I walk downstairs in a pair of jeans and a nice shirt. I am wearing my vans and I curled my hair.

Earlier today, the boys took me to the motel to go retrieve my things.

"You look georgeous."Luke tells me. I blush and we walk out to his car.

He drives to an Italian restaurant and I gave him a look. "I thought it wans't going to be fancy." I say. He just laughs and says, "don't worry, I'm not dressed fancy either and plus it will be fine! We'll have fun." I smile and we walk inside.

"What can I do for you two?"the lady at the front counter asks. "Table for two please." Luke responds not paying attention to the lady looking at him. The lady just stares at him up and down snd not in the judgmental way either.

She sits us at our table and hands us the menues. "I've never been here before" I say. He nods and says, "Me either. I was told that this place has really good food and I wanted to come try it out, but never got around to it." I laugh and then say, "well you said you wanted to know me and wantdd me to know you right?" He just nods his head yes and I continue? "So tell me about yourslef Luke." He laughs a bit and says, "Well I'm from Australia. Me and the boys,we moved here all together. We are best friends. Michael and I use to hate each other, but grown to like each other in the end. I was bullied a little when I was younger, but it wasn't too bad. You know,I wouldn't really say 'bullied', just picked on. I was a little chubby and looking back at it now,it was cute, back then I thought it was terrible. People bothered me about me being chubby and all, but it all stopped when I lost the weight. I play guitar and I sing. The boys and I want to start a band. We practiced a few times, but not a lot."

I smile at him and say, "well if you really want to start a band and go somewhere with it, better start practicing." We both laugh and our food comes out. We begin eating and talking about our past. I feel so comfortable with Luke. He doesn't hide anything. He's real.

After our dinner, we head back to his house. It's now 9:30. We were suppose to see a movie at 8, but we lost track of time. "I'm sorry we didn't get to see the movie." Luke says sadly. I hug him saying, "It's fine! I much rather spend time talking to you. I had fun tonight. Thank you so much Luke." He hugs back and kisses my forehead. He kissed my forehead. He's so sweet. "Goodnight Alana. I lo-Goodnight."he says cutting himself off. What was he going to say? "Goodnight Luke!" I tell him hugging him one last time.

A few weeks later

Luke

It's been a few weeks since our Alana and I's date. Since then, she stayed over here. The day of our date, the boys asked her if she wanted to stay with here. She was hesitant at first, but they convinced her. They drove to the motel and retrieved all her belongings. She left a note for Michael to let him know that she wouldn't be there anymore and that they could still be friends that she was just simply relocating. She thanked him for everything he did to help her and even paid for the next two weeks for him to stay there.

They drove back to my house and helped her unpack. She stays in the guest room. I wish she could stay in my room with me, but I know it's a long shot. We've grown closer together and we're basically like best friends. I almost told her that I loved her though. I really do, but I don't want to tell her though. She may still have feelings for Michael.

Right now Alana is at her job and I am here cleaning up. She tolde that in a few weeks, she was going to drop out. She will be eighteen by then so it's better that way.

Since she is going to be eighteen, the boys and I are gonna do something for her. I don't know if Michael knows or not. The boys haven't talked to him in a while.

I get in my car and drive to a little dinier to meet up with the boys. We are going to talk about what we are going to give Alana for her birthday. We sit in a booth and order.

"How about food. I would like that if it were my birthday."Calum says. Ashton looks at him and says, "that would be great, if it was for your birthday, but it's not. We're talking about Alana's right now." Calum just sticks out his tounge and then I think of something. "How about a necklace with our names on it?" The boys think about it, then they nod. "We're gonna get food though,right?" Calum persists. Ashton and I roll our eyes and tell him yes. He then smiles and our food is then brought to us.

After we pay for our food,we go to a jewelry store. I tell the employee that I want a necklace with a heart on it that says, "Luke, Ashton, Calum, Michael" in a column. He nods and we pay. It would be hurtful to not put Michael's name on there because he is her friend, he just made a mistake.

Michael

I messed up. I shouldn't have brought Mariah. I sjouldn't have even been with her. After Alana left,I broke up with Mariah. You don't know what you have until it's gone. Alana's birthday is coming up,maybe I can make up for it.

What should I buy her? A ring? Not a diamond ring, but a casual ring. A ring with my name on it. No that's a little much. What about a bracelet. A bracelet with a heart on it. The heart can have my name on it. That's a better idea.

I skateboard to a nice jewelry store and look around at the bracelets. Some people gve me weird looks, but I'm not here for them. I'm here so I can take Alana back.

There it is. A bracelet with with a heart charm. This would be perfect. The heart has a small baby blue diamond at the top. I tell the employee to insert 'Michael' in the heart and then I pay. I hope she will like the bracket.

I wonder what the boys are getting her.

Alana

I begun working a while ago and I like it. The boss and my coworkers are very nice. I am paid well and I don't intend on quiting anytime soon.

It's 5 pm and and now I can get off of work. I walk back to Luke's house. When I get to his house, all yhe boys are there laughing and when I walk in they look nervous. "What is going on?" I ask. Luke comes toe and says, "will you be my girl? My girlfriend?" I don't know what to say. "You don't have to. It's all up to you. If you don't want to you don-" I cut him off by hugging him. "Yes Luke. I'll be your girlfriend." He hugs back and the boys cheer. I look around and all the boys are there, except Michael. Does he know?
