Where Are They Now?

Alana

It's been a few weeks since Michael left. I haven't left the house offten, only to work then go shopping for food with Calum. I miss Michael so much, but then again, I hate him for leaving. Why did he have to leave? I know what it said in the letter, but it still hard to elieve that he'd just leave like that.

"Calum put that down. You'll break it." I say chuckling a bit. Calum was tossing a vase in the air like a toy. You know, sometimes I think he's a little kid. A two year old even. "Ok fine. I'm now realizing that it could break. Sorry." Calum says gently putting the vase down.

"Hey Alana, do you wanna go catch a movie and go out to eat? I know Ashton is working late tonight." Calum says looking at me with pleading eyes.

"Yeah sure we can go see a movie." I say and his face lights up. He's like a little kid, but a cute kid. "We can leave now."he says grabbing my arm.

"Wait Cal, I'm wearing sweatpants and a plain shirt. My hair is messy. I have to get ready. It'll take no longer than ten minutes. Ok." I tell him and he rolls his eyes. "Ok fine. I guess I could fix myself too. I haven't fixed my hair at all today." He says playing with his hair at the hallway mirror.

I walk in my room and get dressed.

Luke

Today I am working late. I work at Target. I'm ready to go home. I need a life. I've moved on from Alana. I know I'm not what's best for her. I love her, so I've let her go so she can be happy. I need to find someone else. Someone who understamds me and will love me through the good and bad.

"Hello,did you find everything okay today? Did someone assist you today?" I say then look up. There she was. Not at my register, but the one before mine. She should have came to mine. "Hello?" Said the man who was at my station. "oh yeas sorry, did you recieve assistance today?" I asked and the man shook his head. I scanned his microwave box and handed it to him. He then walked off after paying. The girl, I watched her walk out of the store. She came back in and bought a pack of gum from my register. Finnaly, I can talk to her. "Hellow ma'am. Did you gind everythi-" I said before she cut me off. "Just scan it so I can get out of here." Fiesty. "Of course." I said quickly scanning the pack so she can pay. "My name is Luke, by the way." I said with a smile amd she ignored me and walked off. I turn and see her walk straight into the arms of him. Dave. You can never move far enough away.

Calum

Alana and I watched The Fault in Our Stars. We both cried. It's such a great movie. It's a real love story. A real story.

"Did you like the movie?" I asked Alana and she nodded and said," Yes I love the movie! Augustus, you fall in love with him." She stopped walking and turned to me, "why did you wanna hang out today? Did you want to see this movie?"

"I wanted to hang out today so we could get out of the house. And yes, I wanted to see the movie. If the boys ask, it was your decision." I told her poking her cheeks. She returned the action and poked my side, which made me jump a bit.

"You're so mean to me Alana. Do yiu have a nickname?" I ask her and she shakes her head. "How about, brown eyes?" I suggest. She laughs and says, "Aren't nicknames suppose to be a shorter version of the acctual name?"

"No. I think brown eyes will be perfect for you." I say with a smile. She looks nervous. "Why do you say that? You have brown eyes too." She says pointing out the facts. I face her completely and say soflty, "yours a pretty. The prettiest shade of brown. Dark brown, but in the light, they look light brown."

She gives me a weak smile and says, "that's nice. Thank you." She looks like she is going to cry. Why? "Only I can call you that though. No one else." I proclaim and she looses it. She's crying now.

"Hey what's wrong? Did I say something wrong?" I ask and she shakes her head. We are both sitting on the curb. I'm holding her in my arms as she cries.

"No, it's just that only one other person has said that to be before, and that's Dave. He called me "brown eyes'." She said whiping tears from her face.

"Well I will tell you this Alana. He's not here. He's gone for good. I wont call you 'brown eyes' I'm sorry. Just remember you have Ashton, Luke, and I to protect you. Dave won't come back. Even if he does, he won't toutch you. Neither will his friends. " I tell her and she hugse tight.

"Thanks Cal. You're the best." She says hugging me. "Thanks. Now how about pizza. I'm starving. Let's go rabbit. That's my name for you. Rabbit. You're fast like one and cute like one. In a friendly way of course." I say and she laughs. "Of course in a friendly way and yeah pizza sounds great now."

And we both walk off to get pizza.

Ok guys, so the 5sos announcement was that the release of "She's Kinda Hot" is Friday. 2 days!! I'm so excited!
Well now it's one day cuz it's Thursday.

Today is Luke's birthday!! Goodbye 18 year old Luke. He's 19 guys!

So I'm thinking either next chapter or a few chapters down will be the last chapter. I will make a sequel. Have no fear.
