Ashley's POV

I woke up later that night. I looked beside me to see if Cameron was awake. But he wasn't there.

I quickly got up and ran downstairs. But I couldn't find him. I said his name over and over, but was always no reply.

"Cameron?!" I called. I heard someone walk downstairs. It was Nash.

"Why the hell are you up? Do you know that people are trying to sleep in this house?" He said. Hayes was standing at the top of the stairs rubbing his eyes.

"Cameron isn't here." I said.

"What?" Hayes said tiredly.

"Yeah I woke up and he wasn't beside me." I said.

"Are you sure he's not in the bathroom?" Nash asked.

"Yes, I've checked everywhere." I said. Hayes walked into my room.

"Why would he leave?" Nash asked.

"I don't know." I said.

"If he ran off to another girl, I'm going to kick his ass." Nash said.

"Such an imagination you have. Cameron wouldn't cheat on me and you know that." I said. Nash was quiet for a little bit.

"True." He said.

"Um, Ash.."Hayes called from my room. I ran upstairs Nash following behind me.

Hayes was standing in front of my bulletin board holding a note. I rushed over to him and he gave me the paper.

I read it with Nash reading from behind me.

"Oh shit." I whispered.

"Hey don't swear." Hayes said. I pinched his nose. Then my mom stood in my doorway.

"Why are you guys up?" She asked. I showed her the note.

Cameron's POV

I finally reached the hospital and walked through the entrance of the emergency doors.

I found my way when I saw Sierra and my mother sitting in a waiting room. Sierra ran up to me with her eyes were watery. She hugged me and I hugged her.

"I didn't think you'd come because it's so late." She said.

"Yeah, and I didn't really want to either." I whispered. She pulled out of the hug.

"Why?" She asked. The expression on her face was confused.

"Ashley and I don't live that far from each other. When he dropped us off he asked me if I was coming with him. I said no, but the look he had on his face was like a sad smile. Who knows where he could've really gone? He could've been trying to leave us again." I said. She shook her head at me.

"You can't ever trust somebody who wants to fix what they did to you in the past." She said.

"Sierra, you really think he would actually stay? He's got a job to do back in New York or Florida wherever the hell he lives. That job is more important to him than we'd ever be. Besides, we're not kids anymore. He missed out on us growing up. He missed being a part of our lives. You think he'd really stay just to watch us get a job? No, he wouldn't. He doesn't want to waste his time on us Sierra. You don't understand." I said.

"I don't understand?! No, you don't understand. You used to be such a daddy's little boy. What are you now? Maybe when you said you'd give him another chance you lied. You lied to Ashley. You can't ever forgive anyone, even if they do whatever they can for your trust." She said.
