Ashley's POV

"Ash, I may be dying.." He said.

It felt like a knife had gone through my heart when he said those words.

"I don't want you to go.." I said. He frowned.

"I don't either.." He said. A few tears fell down my cheeks. Cameron wiped them away.

"You know that I love you Ash. But I just want you to know if I do die, that I love you more than anything." Cameron said. I smiled.

"Thanks I love you too Cam. But can we just change the subject? I don't wanna talk about....dying." I said. A few tears fell down my cheeks again. Cameron wiped them away too. He smiled a little.

"Of course babe." He said and kissed me. I smiled. Matt, Nash, and Skylnn had gone home. So it was just Cameron and I.

I was cuddled up to him with his hand on my waist. My head lay against his chest. I listened to him breath while he slept. I couldn't sleep at all.

It wasn't just because I kept thinking about Cameron, it was because I didn't feel well. My stomach was bothering me. I wasn't hungry and I didn't feel like I was gonna throw up either. But I did my best to ignore it.

A young nurse came in. She looked at Cameron and I and smiled.

"Are you his girlfriend?" She whispered. I looked at her and nodded. She smiled.

"I've got some good news on Cameron. I'll show you it come on." She said. I smiled.

"Ok I'll be out in a minute." I said.

"I'll be in the hall outside." She said and walked out.

I looked at Cameron and kissed him.

"I'll be right back." I said.

"Wait, where are you going?" He asked sleepy looking at me.

"I'm gonna go get something to eat. I'll just be downstairs." I said. He nodded and smiled.

"Ok hurry back. I wanna cuddle." He said then gave me a kiss. I smiled and kissed him back.

I put my shoes on and walked out into the hall. My stomach still hurt a little bit but I was fine. The nurse looked at me and smiled.

"This is really good news. It's a little bad news too but yeah." She said opening a door.

On the wall were two X Rays of Cameron's lungs. She turned the light on.

"The one on the left shows his lungs after the fire rescue and the treatment we did. There was a lot of smoke in his lungs at that time also." She said pointing out his lungs and the smoke from the fire. Then she pointed to the second X Ray on the right.

"Now this one we took a little earlier. Before you came back to visit. The smoke has kinda cleared up a lot so it looks like there's almost barely any smoke there." She said. I was so happy my stomach actually didn't really hurt that much anymore.

"So he's not at the risk of death anymore? He's gonna be ok?!" I said happily. She smiled a little bit but barely.

"That's part of the bad news..." She said.

I frowned.

"Cameron isn't at the risk of death now, but.......
