-Hayes' POV-

After Nash had told me the lie he hid from me for the past few years, I shoved him he had fell off the couch and hit his head on the coffee table. Only a little bit of me felt happy for doing that, but I mostly felt awful about it. I laid on my bed and let my tears fall down my face. Nash tells me everything, why would he keep something from me that was really important? I wiped the few tears off my cheek that remained and got up. I walked over to a tall shelf and reached for a photo frame that was next to my football. After I got the photo, I sat back down on my bed.

The photo had Ashley, Nash, Mom, Dad, and myself in it. Ashley was standing by our mom. Nash by our dad. And I was like in the middle in front of dad. I was so short. Ashley was about the same height as Nash but he was a bit taller. I smiled. Then there was a knock at my door.

"Yeah.." I said.

"Hayes, it's Ashley." Ashley said opening the door. I stayed quiet and looked out my window for minute.

"Hayes, a lot of families go through things like this. Sometimes they will still see their parent, or maybe they won't. It's not our choice it's theirs." Ashley said sitting down next to me.

"I know, but why didn't you guys just tell me?" I asked setting the picture on my nightstand.

"Because when it happened, you were too young to understand. We were going to tell you, but then you guys got famous on social media." Ashley said.

"Oh, but if Dad loved us so much why did he leave us? Why didn't he ever come back to see us when he could?" I asked. Ashley pulled me into a hug.

"He might have moved away, got a new job, or he's just really busy." Ashley said hugging me. I hugged her.

"Is...Nash ok?" I asked. Ashley smiled.

"Yeah, he's ok. He's probably taking a nap now though." Ashley said. I nodded my head.

"I lied. He's not the worst brother ever...and I feel terrible for saying it." I said.

"He seems pretty hurt about it, are you going to apologize to him?" She asked me. I nodded my head.

"Are you going to sit here for a minute?" She asked.

"No, I'll follow you downstairs." I said standing up off my bed. Ashley stood up and walked to the door and waited for me. I got to the door and hugged her.

"Thank you Ash, for cheering me up." I said. Ashley hugged me and smiled.

"Anything for my little brother." She said. I smiled and opened my door. I walked over to the couch and sat in front of the couch. He was asleep. I shook his shoulder a little.

"Nash." I said. He opened his eyes slowly and looked around. Then looked at me.

"Yeah?" He said rubbing his eyes.

"I'm sorry for shoving you off the couch to where you hit your head. And for calling

you the worst brother ever, you aren't the worst." I said. He smiled.

"It's ok Hayes. I'm sorry I didn't tell you about dad earlier then now." Nash said.

"We were busy Nash, we got famous before you could tell me anything." I said. He smiled. I gave him a brotherly hug. He hugged me also.

"Aww, Poo Bear loves me. Poo bear gave me a hug." Nash said. I smiled and laughed a little.

"Shut up Nash." I said. Nash laughed. After I finished my only homework assignment I had I took a nap.
