Cameron's POV

I left Sierra and my dad at the mall. I basically just dropped out of the hangout. I didn't want to go back to Ashley's house because I just didn't want to bother her. I also wanted a little time alone.

I decided to make a pizza. So I put one in the oven. I laid down on the couch. I fell asleep so I didn't hear the oven go off.

When I woke up I saw flames. I freaked out and I yelled. I fell off the couch and onto the ground. Smoke filled around the whole house. I started to cough. Then I felt something lick my face. It was whimpering. It was Avery.

"A-Avery?" I said. She wagged her tail then barked. I smiled and petted her. I tried to get up but I started coughing. Really bad. Avery licked my face and whimpered.

"Avery, go outside. Go get help." I said. She licked my face and then ran out the front door. I could hear her barking. I had Jake right beside me. He was laying down next to me on the floor. He sniffed my face and I smiled. I kept coughing. Then a firefighter came and helped me.

"Get my dog." I said. But Jake was actually right behind him, following us. I coughed. I was put on an emergency cot. I saw Ashley. Our eyes met and she smiled a little but it disappeared quickly.

"Cameron!" She yelled. Luckily Nash, Hayes, and her got to ride in the ambulance. She held my hand.

My eyes were halfway open. I had a breathing mask on. I coughed a few times.

Ashley's POV

We were sitting in the ambulance. I was holding Cameron's hand. He slowly moved his other his hand onto his chest and his face showed pain.

Nash noticed also. Hayes didn't know what to do. I got one of the medical people's attention. They came back and checked Cameron's chest. It was red.

Cameron's face was red and showed pain. I held his hand. He glanced over at me and smiled.

"Is he ok?" Nash asked. The medical person looked up at him.

"Something's wrong with his lungs. It's not really bad, but we'll see what's wrong once we get to the hospital." He said. Nash nodded his head.

I ran my fingers through Cameron's hair. He was smiling. We arrived at the hospital. Before Cameron was taken out of the ambulance I kissed his cheek.

"I love you, you're gonna be ok." I said. The medical people wheeled him into the hospital.

Nash helped me get down from the ambulance. He held me in his arms. I didn't want to be put down so he decided to carry me. He was just being a sweetheart.

We got to the waiting room and sat down in the chairs. I sat by Hayes and rested my head on his shoulder. His head leaned against mine. I closed my eyes.

About 15 minutes later, Cameron's Mom, Dad, and Sierra showed up. I quickly got up and walked over to his Mom, we hugged. Hayes followed and hugged Sierra. Nash shook hands with his Dad.

"Is he ok? I heard what happened." She said.

"We're not sure yet. His chest is red and he's also got a small burn on his arm." I said. She nodded her head and looked down at the ground. I put my hand on her shoulder.

"Hey, he's gonna be ok. He's survived a 3 week coma. I think he might be able to pull through this." I said. She smiled. Sierra and I then hugged.

"Oh, Matt has Avery and Jake. So they're ok." She said. I smiled. I looked at Cameron's dad. We just said hi. Then we all sat down. I rested my head on Nash's shoulder this time. His head laid against mine.

It was about an hour later, I had fell asleep. But then the doctor came out and called Cameron's family . Nash, Hayes, and I stayed seated.

I was so worried about Cameron.

I couldn't think of anything else.

Ok it's 2:10am and I'm awake and bored.

So I updated.

Omfg what's wrong with Cam?

Ok well I went bowling...and I dropped the bowling ball 😂

Clumsy Paige

Ok I'm not 100% clumsy. Just a little clumsy.

I do wonder why my friends don't call me Clumsy Bear in gym sometimes...hmm 🐻 lol jk

I'm going to end the chapter now.
