Chapter 40

Cameron's POV

To be honest, I wasn't really mad at Ash or Caleb. I mean I did text him and say I was gonna kick his ass but then he sent me a long paragraph on what happened and how he felt.

And I understood this kid.

Apparently Hayes also knew what was going on so while Ash and I were having our talk, he had invited Caleb over. But Nash had no clue of course.

Caleb hasn't arrived yet but we knew he'd be here soon so we talked quickly.

"So it was a fan that said this?" I asked.

"More like a hater." Ashley said.

"well I understand Caleb. He had feelings for you but I'm just glad he didn't kiss you because then I would've kicked his ass." I said. She wiped tears from her eyes.

"I'm getting so much hate on Twitter right now, and that video with Caleb and I makes my heart break because I've broken his heart." She said. I held her close to me.

"I know. They're just so nosy sometimes but just ignore them nothing they say is true." I told her. I nodded my head.

"I'm gonna change my clothes." She said. I nodded and got up.

"Okay, babe." I said. Her eyes were watery and bloodshot a little.

When she let me back in she was wearing a band t shirt and a gray jacket which I think was once Caleb's and some shorts.

Soon Caleb was here and he was wearing a black t shirt and black pants. I'll just say that his lip piercing and long that stood up did look on him (blue eyes too)

He walked past the door and saw Ashley and I. He had a sad look on his face but gave a small smile and followed Hayes to his room to play Xbox.

"I'm such an ass." Ashley said covering her eyes with her hands. I pulled
her close to me.

"No no, you're not. This isn't your fault babe, and it's not his either. I kinda think it's mine, you should've checked with him first. But then you shouldn't have because he doesn't really need to know your love life but still he can't control who he loves it has feelings for." I said.

"I want to hang out with him, but every time I see his face my heart breaks a little because I know I've hurt him." She said. She started to cry again. I wiped away her tears.

"I know baby, I know." I said.

"Then the fans, they will hate me for sure." She said.

"We could make a video to explain what happened." I suggested.

"Yeah we could. Caleb should be involved." she said.

"I'll go talk to him about it." I said getting up.

"Okay." She said.

I got up and walked into Hayes's room. They were just turning on the Xbox.

"Hey Caleb, can I talk to you for a minute?" I asked.

"Sure." He said and got up. We stood in the hallway.

"Look I understand what's going on right now, I'm not mad. You can't control who you love and have feelings for, I completely understand that. And you're a good kid. Ash and I are going to make a video to explain to the fans what happened and we want you to be involved." I told him. He nodded his head.

"Okay I'll tell Hayes." He said. Before he opened the door.

"Thank you for understanding how I feel about Ashley, I really thought you were gonna kick my ass." He said. I smiled.
