Chapter 24

Ashley's POV

I woke up the next morning. Cameron was awake sitting on the couch. He looked up at me and smiled.

"Good morning Ashley." He said. I smiled.

"Morning Cam." I said getting up and sitting next to him. He put his arm around me.

Nash woke up. His hair was all messed up.

"Never sleep in a chair like this.." He said tiredly and stretched. I laughed a liitle. Tyler walked down the stairs.

"Hey guys, we have something to do today. It's a family thing. You might have to leave soon." He said. 

"Ok, we'll get ready to leave." Nash said getting up. We grabbed everything that we brought and went out to the car. Cameron and I sat in back. Nash drove. We got to the house and Nash unlocked the door.

"Nashy!" Skylnn said. Sky ran to Nash and hugged him. 

"Hi Sky." Nash said giving her a hug. She hugged me and then hugged Cameron.

"I want Cam and Ash to take me to the park." She said. Cameron and I smiled.

"We'll take you to the park as soon as we change our clothes Sky." Cameron said.

"Ok!" Sky said and ran off.

I went upstairs and found a gray sweater. I found some bootcut jeans and my light gray Ugg boots. I found my light gray scraf and a knit beanie hat. It was cold out. After I put my outfit on i went into the bathroom and curled my hair. Then put my knit hat on. I put a little bit of makeup on.

I heard my door open.

"Ashy Bear?" Cameron said. I smiled. I walked out of the bathroom. Cameron was sitting in the chair at my desk. 

He was wearing a gray plaid button up, jeans, and his black vans. His hair looked messy but it was cute.

"Ready?" He asked me. Skylnn ran into my room wearing her boots, jacket, and her knit hat.

"Can we go now?" She asked. I smiled.

"Yes, lets go." I said.

"Yay!" Sky said. We walked downstairs and went outside. I held Skylnn's hand. Cameron holding my other hand. We walked about 4 blocks until we finally got there. Sky went on the slide a few times. And then went on the swings.

I looked around and saw someone familar. It wasn't Ally, Andrew, or Tyler. It was someone else. He was wearing a black hoodie that almost covered his face but not totally. He was wearing jeans and nike shoes.

I knew who it was after he looked up. I looked at him for a minute but quickly looked away before he saw me. I grabbed Cameron's arm.

"Ash, whats wrong?" He asked.

"That guy over there, that's my ex Connor. He was really mean, he hit me, cheated on me, and never cared about me." I whispered. He looked at Skylnn then back at me.

Connor walked into the park he looked up and I saw his sterling gray eyes (that is a eye color). He stopped walking and looked at me. Cameron quickly picked up Skylnn and grabbed my hand.

Connor narrowed his eyes for a minute at me. He then just frowned a little and walked over to a bench and sat down.

"Come on let's just go." Cameron whispered and kissed my cheek.

"Ashy...you ok?" Skylnn asked. I looked at Skylnn and smiled.

"I'm ok Sky, nothings wrong." I said. I kissed Cameron's cheek and we walked back to the house. Connor stayed seated on the bench. He was on his phone. When we got to the house it started to rain. I took Sky's jacket off, her boots, and her hat and put them away. Cameron changed his clothes.
