"Dad, I have a girlfriend." The boy confessed, looking down scared to see his dad's reaction as he knew his dad would not approve of this relationship but he couldn't hide it anymore.
"Since when, Soobin? and you didn't care to tell me?" He looked at his son with disappointed eyes but soobin couldn't look in his eyes, making him sigh.
"I'm sorry dad but I promised to introduce her to you when she gets comfortable." He tried to defend his point and not make her look bad. "Did she tell her parents?" He asked sternly, staring at the newspaper he was reading a while ago.
"Umm actually dad, she doesn't have parents." Soobin was hesitant to tell everything about her. "You mean she's an orphan?" He raised his brows at his son, already judging his voice.
'What if she's just a gold digger and trapping him for money.' He thought and looked at his son, waiting for his reply. "Actually her parents died when she was young and her aunt who took care of her died two months ago." He spoke in a low voice.
"You are saying, you wanna marry a girl who doesn't have a proper background?" Jin rose up from his seat and threw the newspaper on the coffee table, making Soobin more scared about his relationship. He never did something without his father's permission.
Even though he was eighteen, he still didn't have a choice of his own. Seokjin had total control over his life and Soobin didn't mind at all as Jin had always been like this. He thought his dad was protective over him as he never saw his mother.
He thought his father didn't want to lose him, that's why he was being like this but little did he know the reason was something else.
"But dad at least meet her. She is polite and beautiful. She won't disappoint you." Soobin tried to persuade him as he loved his girlfriend so much and couldn't think of living without her.
"Okay then. Bring her here on Saturday for dinner." Jin said with a sigh. It wouldn't hurt him to at least meet her for once. Who knows maybe he would like her.
"Really dad? Thank you so much dad. I love you." He hugged Jin with a wide smile and he smiled seeing his son's happy face. "I love you too." Jin replied and ruffled his hair before going towards his study room.

"Hello! Sir, what would you like to have?" You greeted with a sweet smile and asked as soon as you saw the customer entering the cafe where you work. He looked at you for some time and got lost in your smile which was much brighter than the sun and radiated warmth.
"Ahem! Just a cup of Iced-Americano." He cleared his throat and quickly gave his order, trying to look away from your face. "Wait for a minute sir, coming right up." You smiled at him and signalled him to sit on a chair.
