"Dear little brother..."
A voice casts in the distance.
"Remember me... Forever, and always."

The hospital room is cluttered, but it could never feel so empty. A frail boy, ill and damaged, lies awake. He was crammed into this bed. For his friends had found him. He ponders on the night prior, his head aching with every passing second. The hospital room makes the boy feel confined; its walls are so finite and lacking of the vast emptiness that normally accompanied him. Confused, he calls out a name, the name of someone very familiar.

But nobody came

In a slump, he can barely get out of his bed. The door, residing at the end of the room, seems miles away. He swings open the door, watching his friends depart. They wait for him to come too.
