The nerves were kicking in as I walked towards the Gorilla. Not about the match but about seeing Colby. I took several deep breaths before I turned the corner and went into the small broadcasting room. I walked in to see people working on the show and then I saw the boys standing near the curtain talking. I took several more breaths before walking over.

"Hi."

They all looked at me. Jon smiled, Joe smiled but he still looked unhappy and then there was Colby. He looked at me but then quickly turned away. I tried to not let it get to me as I watched the monitor. I focused on the match which was Mercedes vs Pamela for the Women's Championship. I was so happy Mercedes was getting this opportunity again.

"You're not going to say anything else?"

I looked to see Colby looking at me. It was the first time he had said anything to me since last night.

"What do you want me to say?"

"That you're sorry."

I scoffed. "Sorry? I should be sorry? For what? Expressing how I felt to you? If I have to apologize for that, then maybe we shouldn't be together because you clearly shouldn't be in a relationship."

"No, for sleeping with Jon."

Jon intervened. "Whoa, whoa. Hey now. Nothing...

"Shut up, Jon." Colby was very angry.

Jon stopped talking.

"I didn't sleep with Jon."

"Really? You didn't? Because you two left together, you were angry at me, you were at the hotel with each other and then Jon confessed his love for you. But you didn't cheat on me? Surprising."

"You really think any of that matters to me? We could break up and Jon could come and confess his love for me and I still wouldn't be with him."

"Hey, I take offence to..."

"Shut up, Jon."

Jon went back to silence again.

"If you really think that I cheated on you, with him, then I don't even know what you learned about me in the past many months. You know I would never do that to you."

"One minute, Shield." I heard someone say.

I walked over to the curtain, ready to stop talking about last night. The music hit and we walked out. I pretended that our group was fine and that we were happy. The crowd cheered as we walked towards the ring. We got in and waited for Enzo and Cass. They walked out but they had two other people with them, Finn Bálor and Sami Zayn. They got in and we faced off. Jon and I got out of the ring and the crowd sounded disappointed. I think they were wanting me to wrestle. And as the match was about to start, Joe told the ref to stop. Joe got down, high fived me and I got on the apron. The crowd went crazy and the match started. This was going to be fun.

"Congratulations, guys."

Paul hugged us as we walked backstage. Our match went amazing and we now had the tag titles once again. The guys were talking which gave me an excuse to sneak away from all of it. I wanted to get out of here as quickly as possible. I was almost to the locker room when I heard a voice.

"We need to talk."

I looked to see Colby standing before me. He looked apologetic and though I didn't want to talk to him, I knew we would have to sometime. I sighed and let him in the locker room. We walked in and he sat down across from me.

"I'm sorry."

"Ok. For?"

"For yelling at you and getting mad at you. You were just telling me how you felt and I should have understood that."

"Thank you."

"I'm just scared about all of this. Cameron really messed me up."

"I know."

"Which is why I'm about to apologize again."

"For what?"

"After you left, I didn't care about the drink rule and got really drunk."

"Ok."

"And I did something pretty bad."

"Colby, what did you do?"

I walked into catering and saw Mercedes hanging out with Jon and Joe. They were laughing and having a great time. I walked up to the table and they all looked at me.

"Hey, girl. What's up?"

And I smacked her across the face.

"Whoa, hey. What's going on?" Jon asked. He was clueless about what was happening.

Joe turned away. He knew everything.

"You want to know what's going on, Jon? After we left, Mercedes and Colby got really drunk. Joe had to drive them back to the hotel, right, Joe?"

He nodded.

"Then instead of going back to our room, Mercedes followed Colby back to his."

"What? Marci, I swear, I didn't know."

"I know you didn't, Jon. You weren't there while it happened. You weren't there while my boyfriend and best friend stabbed me in the back. Joe knew though. Didn't you, Joe?"

"I'm sorry. They asked me not to tell. I wanted to but..."

"Save it. I'm not that angry at you. You're not the one that slept with my boyfriend. Best friends, right? And you didn't even have the guts to tell me this morning."

Mercedes was crying by this point. "I didn't want to get you distracted from tonight."

"Well, you sure accomplished that. Congrats, I wasn't distracted. Too bad that my boyfriend was the one to tell me the truth before you."

"I never wanted it to happen. You've got to know that."

"I do. But it did happen, that's what matters here. So, thanks for betraying me."

I walked away from the table, unable to process everything that I had just said and heard. I tried not to cry as I went to the parking lot and left the arena.
