When I woke up the morning, I met up with Joe and Jon in the lobby for breakfast. When we were about to walk out the doors to the parking lot, we heard someone yelling after us. I looked back to see Colby running towards us still putting on his shoes. I heard Jon and Joe trying to keep in their laughter.

"Colby? What are you doing?"

He caught up to us and was struggling for breath.

"Where are you guys going?" He said through breaths.

"Going to get something to eat."

"Can I go with you guys?"

I was so confused. Why did he suddenly want to go with us? Because we had a nice conversation in the car, he thought we were friends? I looked at Joe and Jon and they just shrugged.

I sighed. "Fine. Come on."

Colby followed after us and got in the car. It was an awkward ride. Though Colby and I had a little bonding experience yesterday, we were far from friends. I needed to talk to him before he thought I was being nice because I wanted to be friends.

Joe and Jon left to go to the gym which left Colby and I to get a ride back to the hotel. The car ride back was just as awkward. When we arrived at the hotel, I pulled Colby aside.

"I need to talk to you."

"Good, because I need to talk to you too."

"Ok. You go first."

"I'm sorry."

I was confused. "What?"

"I'm sorry for how I have been treating you. I was upset about you joining The Shield because I have been travelling with Jon and Joe for so long. Then you just join out of nowhere and it changes everything. I was also scared that since you don't like me very much that it could damage both of our careers. I guess, what I'm trying to say is, let's just get through this thing as politely as we can and then we can both go back to our normal lives."

I was surprised. "Oh, yeah. Completely agree."

He smiled. "Great. See you around."

He walked back into the hotel after that. I was really confused. He was the one who wanted to be civil? After all the crap he put me through, he wanted to be civil and get this over with? He was going to stop chasing after me then? Well, good. Maybe this had been a blessing in disguise. Maybe my life would finally be getting better after this.

Tonight was my first promo and I was pretty nervous. I was hoping I wasn't going to mess this up.

"Stop shaking."

I looked to see Jon. He had his hair slicked back and I couldn't help but smile. It was taking me back several years.

"I'm not shaking."

"You can't lie to me. I can see how nervous you are."

"I'll be fine. Right?"

"Yeah, you'll be great."

"Thanks, Jon."

He nodded and started stretching. Joe and Colby showed up soon after that. They started to stretch for a few minutes and then I heard it. The music. The music that took me back to when The Shield was formed. And now I was a part of it. I smiled at the thought and walked onto the stage. The crowd roared in cheers as we walked out and we walked down the ramp. WWE thought it would be safer walking from backstage instead of the crowd and I was happy about that. I was pretty sure I would have fallen down all the stairs if I had been asked to walk in the crowd. I got in the ring and went to grab a mic. The guys got in the ring and the music stopped playing. The crowd was chanting 'Hounds of Justice' before I lifted the mic up to my lips.

"You're probably all wondering why I'm out here and why the men standing before you are not killing each other right here and now. I'll make it simple. I put these men back together. I told these men the truth. They all have a common enemy. The Club."

The crowd booed.

"Those men have been running their mouths for far too long! Those men think that this is their yard. That they are the reason this place is still standing today! Well, I have a little truth for them. This isn't their yard. They aren't the reason this company is still standing. It is because of these three men behind me. It is because of them this company is still even making money. Because whether hated or loved, these men made this company better. They took this company from the John Cenas of the wrestling world. The people who get opportunity after opportunity handed to them! Now, they are back. They are back to take this company from AJ Styles. This place isn't his for the taking. It's ours. And if he has a problem with that, he can deal with us directly. That is, if he isn't going to be a coward for once."

I waited and the boys got in a fighting stance. AJ Styles' theme hit and The Club walked out. AJ stood in front and he was laughing.

"Weird, I don't remember you being a part of The Shield. I've got to say you're much prettier than the three of them."

"I'm not here to be pretty. I'm here to beat you into the ground and wipe that stupid smirk off of your face."

"Sweetheart, do you know who I am?"

"An entitled jerk?"

He laughed. "Cute. Go get them boys."

Finn, Luke and Karl walked down to the ring and a fight broke out. The six men started fighting outside and I watched AJ walking towards the ring. He got in and came toe to toe with me. He smirked at me and turned his back to watch the fight, acting like I wasn't a threat to him. That was where he was wrong. I slipped out of the ring and grabbed a chair. I got back in and with AJ's back still turned, I hit him with the chair. He went down and I hit him a couple more times. I picked him up and delivered a Dirty Deeds. The crowd was going crazy. I looked to see the guys getting back in the ring. The four of us put our fists together. I picked up a mic and picked up AJ by his hair.

"The Shield is back and we're here to stay. Don't underestimate us or you're going to experience this fate all over again. Believe that and believe in The Shield."

I pushed his head back down to the mat and the four of us went backstage. As soon as we got back there, I saw Paul smiling.

"That was awesome. The crowd was loving it."

"Thanks, Paul."

"Good job, guys."

I was happy that we had done so well. A few more months of this? I could get used to it.
