I knocked on his door several times. Maybe he didn't want to talk to me. I sighed and started to walk away.

"Marci?"

I looked at Colby and his hair was damp like he just had gotten out of the shower. And I looked down to see him wrapped in a towel.

I covered my eyes. "Oh, sorry. I didn't realize you were in the shower."

"It's fine. What did you need?"

"I needed to talk to you."

"Ok, come in. I'll get dressed."

I walked in and Colby went into the bathroom to change. I walked around the room looking at his stuff and noticed something peeking out of his suitcase. I picked it up and saw it was a picture of us. I smiled and set it back in the suitcase. I heard the bathroom door open and Colby walked out in a pair of jeans and a tshirt with A Day to Remember on it. He came over and sat next to me.

"So, what did you need?"

"I talked to Jon."

"Oh. And?"

"He told me he did it. He told me that it was true."

"I'm sorry. I wish I never said anything."

"No, I'm glad you did. I would be living a lie. Jon may love me like he says he does but what he did, he doesn't have any right to do that. No matter how much he loves me."

"Are you going to forgive him?"

"I don't know. It's all a bit jumbled in my head to even think about it."

"I think you should. Though he did do what he did, he still cares about you. I think, in time, you should forgive him."

"And do you?"

"Hm?"

"Do you still care about me?"

I looked at him and he turned away.

He gave a nervous laugh. "Why would you think I still cared?"

I smiled. He was trying to hide it. But I knew the truth. "Well, that is what it seemed like when you were at the hospital and telling me to quit in the stairwell."

"Yeah, well. It was a lapse in judgement."

"Really?"

"Yeah."

"Hm, ok. I guess I better get going then, huh?"

"Yep. Get going."

"Alright."

I walked out the door and walked down the stairs, waiting for him to follow. After several minutes of standing there, I heard the door open and Colby ran down the stairs towards me. I made room for him on the small space between us between the two flights of stairs. That meant I had to scoot back so far that my back hit the wall. Colby looked down at me and smiled.

"I've missed you."

"I know."

He laughed. "Have you missed me too?"

"Possibly."

"I'm sorry."

"I know. I am too."

He smiled and I smiled back. I put my arms around him and hugged him. He was shocked at first, shocked that I would even touch him but soon enough, wrapped me up in his arms. I wasn't sure what this could mean for the both of us but I hoped, it meant something good.

I was getting my bag ready to leave the arena when two hands covered my eyes.
