Chapter 48- Finale Chapter

~ 3 Years Later: April 14, 2025 ~

I chopped up some strawberries and put them in a bowl. I was about to pull out the mini pie crusts when I felt arms wrap around me.

"Smells good."

"Well, you can't have any."

"Aw, why you got to mean to me?"

"I have a knife in my hand you know."

Jon kissed my cheek.

"Jon, unwrap your arms around my wife, please?"

Jon and I laughed as Colby walked into the room. Jon let go of me as I finished dessert. Jon, my brothers, Mercedes, Taylor, Trina and Stephanie were all over to watch RAW tonight at our apartment. Everyone had the week off and decided to come visit us. We were happy to have them here.

"Aw, come on, Colby. Don't get so angry. You know you love having me here."

"It's debatable."

Colby tried to look serious as he said it but ended up smiling. I was glad those two were getting along again. I forgave Jon a while ago and I was glad we were friends again too. He sat down next to my brothers and Mercedes and they started talking. Mercedes started eyeing JJ. She admitted that she might have a small crush on my brother and I wasn't sure how I felt about it. I knew JJ was a a pretty ok guy but I just didn't want Mercedes to get hurt once again. But what ever happened, I would be there for her no matter what. The boys laughed at something Jon said. I was so proud of my brothers. After I came home when I left WWE to pursue my career as a therapist, which was going very well, the boys got their acts together and made something of themselves. I was so happy about it. I watched Taylor talking to Stephanie and Trina. I was so proud of Taylor too. She got her degree and was completely focused on her job. She was doing so well and I was happy that I had met her that day at Mania. Trina had just became manger at Cricket and was doing really well. Might even be able to send Stephanie to college in the future. As I looked at my living room full of people I loved, I couldn't imagine a better life.

"Hi."

I felt arms come around me. And then I felt even better than before. Colby and I started dating soon after our little kiss in the stairwell that night and I was so happy we had. We dated for a while but then Colby asked me to marry him. I gladly said yes and we had been married for the past two years. Colby left the WWE shortly after we got married. He had gotten injured in a match and they weren't sure he should get back in the ring. He had been pretty depressed after that so we made the decision to move to Iowa so he could put all of his time into making Black and Brave the best wrestling school in the country. And it was going great. I was so happy for him and happy for us.

I turned my head and kissed him before pulling out the crusts. I put the filling and toppings in and I had to let it sit for a bit so I left it so I could go over and sit down in the living room. Tonight was an important night. Joe was going to be making announcement and none of us knew what it was. RAW was soon nearing its end and I cuddled up next to Colby. Joe walked into the ring and he looked sad.

"Tonight is important. Because tonight, I am officially retiring."

Everyone in the arena was in shock. And so were we.

"Jon, did he tell you he was doing this?" Colby asked.

"No, he said nothing to me."

Joe started crying and people were chanting his name. I saw Finn come out. They had a lot of respect for each other and it was nice to see Finn coming out to pay his respect. Joe gave him a hug but then out of nowhere, Joe slammed him to the mat. He started beating up Finn. He wiped his eyes and picked up his mic.

"You're an idiot if you think I'm going to retire yet. I want your title. And I'll get it." The crowd was booing and he turned to them. "Go on. Boo me. Do you actually think I care? I'm better than all of you, I'm better than anyone in that locker room and I am certainly better than Finn. You're looking at your new champion. Get used to it." Joe threw his mic down and picked up the title. RAW ended and we all sat in shock.

"Whoa." Someone said.

And then we all started clapping. Joe was going heel. I knew he had been wanting to and I was glad he got what he wanted. We ate pie and then everyone left. Colby cleaned up as I got around for bed. I heard the bed creak and I finished up getting around before going over to the bed. One lamp was on and I saw Colby laying down. He was smiling at me as I walked over.

"What?"

"You're so beautiful."

Even after being with him for so long and hearing those words all the time, I still blushed. I smiled and crawled into bed next to him. He turned off the light and he put his arms around me. He soon started to snore and I smiled. I couldn't imagine anything better. We had a lot of obstacles in front of us but I was happy that we could get here, to this point. Because I loved the man that slept beside me at night. I loved him more than I could love anything in my life. And I smiled as I thought about my husband, The Man, Colby Lopez.
