Chapter Six

Fear. That was all Ruby could feel in the back of that truck- her eyes frantically scanning the area.

This looked like some type of prison, talk about high rich security.

She tripped as they dragged her up to the front door and shoved her inside- Ruby shivered, rubbing her arms to warm up as she looked around.

Dozens of artifacts in glass littered the area, like some type of of museum- it was weird and the bad feeling she had was only growing.

She groaned as she was shoved into another room, catching herself on the bedpost before she could fall.

Ruby paid no attention to the man on the other side of the door, looking around the room and trying to figure out what the hell this was.

Anxiety filled her as she heard the lock click on the door, running over and frantically jiggling the door handle.

" no- no no no" she muttered to herself, anxious tears stinging her eyes- she was trapped, she couldn't get out.

" shit!" She yelled and punched the door, angry and scared tears streaming down her face.

" god damnit!" JJ yelled and kicked the metal board- he didn't know where she was or if she was even alive.

" can you just chill out for five seconds? Breaking shit won't bring her back" John B tried to reason- immediately shutting up as JJ glared at him.

" what if she's dead huh? Then what?" JJ seethed, punching the board this time, " she's not dead.." Sage said with a grimace.

" we're finding her. End of discussion." JJ said and held up Jimmy's wallet, " 101 cattle wash, that has to be where she is" he said and took off, the rest of the Pogues running after him.

Back at the mansion Ruby sat on the bed, in a tight ruby red dress- she hated it, she felt like she was with Rafe again.

She spun her engagement ring around her finger, silently wondering how she would get out of this.

Ruby looked up as the door opened and stood, smoothing out the dress before walking out.

" if you touch me one more time I swear to god-" she muttered, the man grabbing her by the arm- but before he could she spun around, yanking his hand off and breaking two of his fingers as a warning.

She yelped as he shoved her down the steps, catching herself on the railing and walking down, her anger and annoyance building.

Ruby sighed and leaned against the wall, fixing her bracelets- " oh you've gotta be kidding me" a voice, one she recognized all too well rung out.

She gulped and looked up, freezing in place at who she saw.
