Erin woke up the next morning, as the sun had shone in her room. She sat up on the bed and looked at the date on her phone. It was here, this was the day and she was absolutely scared as hell. She freshened up and dressed herself as she went down the stairs to smell pancakes, something that Hank had always made her whenever she came over because  knew she only liked the pancakes made from him.

' good morning kiddo, how you feeling' Hank asked as he placed the pancakes onto the plate.

' uh I'm doing okay' she spoke as she sat down and Hank came and sat opposite her.

' eat' he demanded, she picked up her knife and fork and started eating.

' Hank' she said as she looked at her father, he looked at her as she was just staring at him.

' what's wrong kid' he asked.

' I need you to promise me something' Hank closed his eyes and walked off to get water.

' no, I'm not hearing this, I heard this with your mother but I'm not hearing this from you' he spoke angrily as he filled up his glass and stood next to the sink.

' Hank'

'No Erin, I know nothings going to happen to you because your strong you have been through so much in your life and I know you can overcome this because I raised you' he raised his voice and looked up trying not to cry.

' Hank please listen to me' she said as her voice broke, so he looked down for a minute and walked over to her and sat down. She took her hand in hers and squeezed it.

' I just wanted to say thank you for what you have done, if you didn't save me from the streets I wouldn't have been able to create a family. I wouldn't be able to have so many people. And your the reason for it. I'm happy that I got you as my father and I had camille as my mother and Justin as my brother. You guys are my real family, it's like I was born here' she took a deep breath and shied her head.

' promise me to look after yourself, if I-I go you don't go around on the loose, be the person you are now. Carry on being a sergant, because that's who you are that's who I had looked up to, your the reason I decided to become a cop... don't come to me to soon. Be here to watch Daniel grow up and be a fantastic person, look after Justin. He pretends to not be as fragile but deep down he is and I don't want that for him' Erin finished speaking, and Hank had nodded his head and smiled at him.

' hey guys' the door opened and there came Justin in with his son.

' ooo Who is this, you have grown all up haven't you'

' aun ewin' he laughed bubbly as she picked him up. He was always fond of Erin, she was great with kids.

' my nephew is growing all up, look at you' she kissed him on the cheek.

' you alright pops' Justin asked.

' yeah I am' he spoke and nodded his head at Justin.

' come on she needs to eat, come to grandpa ' but when he held his hand out Henry had put his head in Erins neck.

' you know Hank you can't beat me, when he sees me he just can't resist me can you' she started tickling and he was laughing historically. They all sat down whilst Erin had finished her breakfast and spoke about the past because they wanted to see Erin happy and not sad.

The family has started to get her stuff gathered, and Erin came down with a bag in her hand and looked around the room. This was her home, the home where her life had started and maybe it was the one where it would end. She could just imagine camille coming over to her and saying her wise words and telling her not to worry because she would be there's and most importantly her family would be there. Tears started to build in all threes eyes as they saw why was going on.
