Erin went around the hall they had made outside greeting everybody. She was having the time of her life and everybody could tell. But there was something in her heart that was making her worry and dishearted. And Hank saw it, he waked towards her as she was going to speak to someone " you okay kid?" He asked, she nodded her head happily, but she knew he could see through her facade. Hank was about to speak when someone spoke in the microphone.

" it's time for the father/ daughter dance, please may I invite Erin and Hank onto the stage"

Hank put his hand forward so Erin could take it and made their way onto the dance floor.

" what's troubling you kid?" He asked, as they danced on the floor with a slow beat song in the background " I'm missing Camille, she should be here for this you know.. I want my mum here" her voice cracked as she spoke. With tears glistening in her eyes.

" Erin she is here, she's with you right now.. she's in your heart and I know for a fact that she is looking down at you, jumping up and down in happiness. You have to believe that.. and I for one do" he said, Erin looked at him with a smile.

" how do you do that?" She questions, Hank raised his eyebrows, confused. " do what?"

" make me feel better, with your so called wise words"

" your mother taught me, that's how I know"

After all the rituals and whatnots. Jay and Erin made their way to the planned trip and everyone went home. They loved the day, especially Erin. She got see everyone, she got to do the father daughter dance with her father. She did everything that she had wished for that was deep in her heart, where no one was able to find it. She wished that she stayed this happy all the time. That's all.

Jay had told her it was a surprise where he was taking her, she knew she hated surprise and he knew she knew but as well Jay Halstead does these things just to tick her off, deep down he loves doing these things to her. Jay blindfolded her eyes from seeing where they were, he helped her from the car and walked to the place.

" Jay, this is spooky. If you plan on taking me into the woods and killing me, just so you know I am a detective and an agent as one.. and you know who Hank is right" she spoke sarcastically Jay giggled as he heard absurdity come from her mouth.

They came to a still, Jay took off her blindfold and was amazed to what she was seeing right infront of her eyes. It was a huge wood house, laced with lights hanging down with the view of the lake infront of them. Next to the waters edge she remembered. This was Wisconsin.

"great fishing, muskie, large mouth" he spoke up. She looked at him and finished the sentence.

" mosquitos"

They both laughed at that, the memory had been burned in their heads about that conversation forever.  Erin took a deep breath " wow, this is how I visioned it all. The way you described it, it was horrible. But now that I am seeing this right infront of me.. it's amazing" Jay could see her eyes twinkling, as she looked at the property infront of her. He wished he could see that forever.

" come on, show me around Halstead" she said seductively, and showed them green eyes at her. But first he had to do something " just wait give me a second" he let go of her hand, and ran to open the door. Erin raised her eyebrow, thinking what the hell is going on now.

" you know how typical I am.. I mean traditional. So I have to do something to give you a warm and proper welcome" he came back to bed and picked her up in a bridal style and took her inside, she shook her head. Of course only he would do this

" always the traditionalist" she snickered.
