The next morning, Erin opened her eyes as the sun shone in her room and on the person next to her. Which was jay Halstead. His beard was growing the one she always loved but he was so god damn stubborn saying he didn't like it. His hand was still wrapped around his and she noticed something on her wrist and it eas His fog tags the one she had given to him before she went into surgery.

A knock on the door interrupted her thoughts and with that jay had woken up, he was always such a light sleeper.

' morning handsome' she said as he opened his eyes, he gave her a kiss and saw that Will and Hank were making their way into the room.

' hey Will' she spoke of you.

' hey tiger how you feeling?'

' eh I'm feeling okay.. what's up' she asked, Hank made his way to erin and stood next to her.

' so I took a look at your scans, the cancer did not fully go, so we have decided to put you on chemo to help kill those cells' Erin took a sharp breath in, she saw how the chemo had destroy camille she didn't want to be like that. Hank squeezed her hand, smiled and nodded his indicating ' your going to be okay' because he knew what she was thinking about and she was thinking bout camille.

' when do We start?' Jay asked on her behalf.

' a week from now, we need to be able to let you fully recover from the surgery'

' one question will... when do I get to go homeee?' She asked as she wined.

' I knew you were going to ask that, so you should be allowed to go in about 2 days'

' come on will, your a doctor you can just break me out CANT you?'

' he's not a real doctor' jay snickered.

' for your information yes I am, and no can do tiger I am not breaking any laws at the moment and your detectives  and your sergant is right there... I am not interested in getting arrested' she rolled her eyes and looked at Hank with puppy eyes, jay knew what she was doing.  She was tryna get what she wanted, that only worked with Hank, Al, Jay and also Trudy'

' do not give me them eyes kid, you know I'll cave in but not this time.... You need your rest and when your home you AINT going to rest'

' no buts kiddo, those puppy eyes worked when you were in your teens and I was younger but not anymore your grown up and I am...'

' your old Hank you know that' she snickered at that and so did Will and jay, but he looked up and gave them the stare.

' I only look old because you have me these grey hair'

' yeah he did but mostly you..' he scuffled her hair and gave her kiss on the forehead. Will had gone to do work, Hank left shortly saying there was some stuff to do at the district. And jay was sat there, they watched th got a while before there was another knock on the door and this tim it was Antonio Dawson.

' there's my sister' he came over and put the flowers on her bedside and gave her a massive hug.

' oh I've missed you' he said in her ear and pulled away.

' what about me? No hugs , no ' I miss you's' ' jay wined and looked at his friend.

Tonio rolled his eyes and looked at him ' your not as special as she is'

Erin laughed and spoke ' that's true you aren't so sit back down' Erin ordered and he reluctantly did.
