Chapter 33: Successfull Mission

Hi guys! Im sorry for not publishing this chapter, I have just come back from holiday and really didn't have the time to write anything, but hope you guys enjoy this chapter!

After Erin had hugged the man.they all looked at each other and smiled.

" alright everyone drinks on me today" Ruzek wooed of course, he was always down to go to Mollys. There was never a day he would deny to go to Mollys and if he did that meant something was seriously wrong with him.

The team made it into mollys and grabbed a drink " I would like to say something" the man that hugged Erin spoke as he grabbed his drink and held it and it was none other than Hank voight himself.

" I am thankful for each and everyone of you for doing what has to be done today, I am proud to be apart of this team, and having you guys as my team members. Antonio you will always be a part of this team even thought your with the DA now" Antonio smiled at this response " Erin, you will always be my daughter no matter what anyone says" Hank looked at her who was tucked in jays side " what you did today we will never forget, but most importantly you did something I don't think anyone could.. so good job everybody .. cheers"

" wait wait, I have a toast to make to" Ruzek spoke, Lindsay looked at burgess and raised her eyebrows and it was written all over Kim's face in what they were about to say.

" me and Kim have some exciting news to share, we're having a baby" everyone went around congratulating them.

" yes, congrats daddy Ruzek" Antonio went over and gave him a hug " behave like an adult now, the kid has to behave as a kid" platt said as she patted his back.

Erin went up to Kim " you finally told him, I'm proud of you... and I'm excited for you" Erin gave her a hug, " I have a question I have wanted to ask you for a while now" Erin raised her eyebrows at her best friend " I would really like you to be this child godmother" Erin slightly gasped at what her best friend asked her.

" are you sure? I mean .."

" don't you dare say that you might not be here for the baby, because we know your going to be okay. The scans told us today that your going to be all well"

" I am honoured to be your child's godmother"Erin said happily, Kim clapped her hands in excitement and hugged her best friend.

Erin had seen Hank was sitting with Al nursing a drink, she excused herself from Kim and sat between the men.

" orange juice for you" hermann gave her along with a wink and a smile, she thanked him and he went to go serve other customers.

" don't you two ever, I mean ever put me through that ever again." She took a sip of her drink and looked at both of them " we will never do that again, but you have to admit this undercover work really put you back in the groove didn't it" Al said to her, she smiled at his words

" it really did, I actually did miss the undercover work" she spoke with the twinkle in her eyes in which Hank didn't miss.

FLASHBACK

Erin and Jay ran into the hospital, Erin was much faster than Jay, she ran out of the car as soon as they reached the hospital, they walked into the ER and Erin saw her future brother in law from afar, she ran up to him with her heart beating.

" where is he will?" She asked with her voice breaking, he looked down and then looked at Al. Erin decided to go up to him instead " what happened?" She asked her pseudo uncle, he looked down too " Al what happened?... he promise he wouldn't leave me, he promised me.." she spoke and now the tears were brimming in her bright red eyes, Jay hung back and watched the interaction between the family.
