Chapter 30: Suprise!

Jay was getting ready for work that morning and Erin was going to spend the day at home. So he was suprised when he saw that she was all dressed up waiting by the door. " and where are you going?" Jay questioned as he was clippping his badge.

" I'm coming with you to the district" Jay raised his eyebrows at her " no your not, your staying at home and your resting" he went into the kitchen to grab his flask that was full of coffee.

" no jay, I'm coming with you" she insisted. She saw that he was going to say something but she stopped him " you have been keeping me at this pedestal where you think every time I do something or go somewhere that I will break, but I'm not going to" he got where she was coming from, he was overprotective lately " I absolutely adore the fact you take care of me and protect me but I need this Jay" and then she used her big puppy eyes to do this, he knew she was going to do this.

" okay fine, look I won't even ask to drive" now that was a good bargain, a pretty good one.

Jay groaned and then gave in" okay come on then babe, let's go to work" Erin jumped up and down and gave him a kiss on the cheek. She loved it when he said that, made everything normal for a while.

On the other side of town, Hank and Al decided to pay a visit to David Lindsey at statesiville prison. They entered the prison and into the waiting room for visitors.

" Hank Voight... and Alvin olinksy.. to what do I owe this pleasure" David came in with his arms in handcuffs, the prison guard made him sit down and left.

" we have come here nicely, and this is as nice I can get" Hank said, he moved a bit closer to David " whatever your planning on doing to Erin, I suggest you drop it. You haven't seen my ugly side.. and I don't think you want to" Voight threatened, David looked at the two grown men infront of him and he let out an evil and nasty grin.

" alright, but I want one thing from you" Hank looked at his best friend wondering what this guy wanted " I want to speak to bunny that's all, she isn't answering my phone calls nothing"

"Bunny?" Alvin questioned his voice was now laced with confusion.

" yeah, i need to speak to her that's all"

" that's all? And you're going to put an end in disturbing Erin?"

" I wasn't going to do anything, she's my daughter Hank.. I just wanted for you to come down here so I could get what I want.."

" okay then.. you will get bunny then.. but if I hear that your planning on doing something to Erin I will make sure you never ever see another day again.. you heard rumours about me. You know what I can do, so take this threat very seriously"

Alvin and Hank left the prison bewildered to the fact that David wanted to see Bunny. God knows for what. " what is his play here with bunny" Alvin questioned as Hank drove off.

" I don't know, but something is going on and i need to know" he sighed, they went to bunny's bar to talk her about David.

Erin and Jay entered the precinct and as usual Trudy was there " look whose here" Trudy placed her glasses on the desk and walked around to give Erin a hug " how you doing?" She asked as she withdrew from the hug.

" I'm doing good.. as expected" she told her sergant " that's good to hear, keep coming around here I know everyone misses you, especially chuckles behind you" jay let out a smirk, she wasn't wrong there. They bid their goodbyes to Trudy and made their way up.

" Lindsay your here!" Ruzek exclaimed as he walked out of the breakroom with a cup of coffee in his hand " I'm here Ruzek, and I am sitting on your desk since this is my chair" she greeted everyone else that was there and nodded her head to Upton from afar. Lindsay then sat down on the chair and relaxed.
