A/N: So I'm not really interested in explaining all the skills that he obtained during the harvest festival. I assume you all know it. If you don't, say so in the comments.

[[...that concludes my report, master.]]
I was behind my desk in my office when I was done receiving Raphael's report about my new abilities.
'How vain.'
All these powers and the only thing they're good for is revenge, pitiful.
Of course I was not alone in my episode of self loathing…
[[Notice, once again I apologize for my incompetence, master.]]
'No Raphael, this is on me. You are not the one responsible for my naive decisions that led to this.'
Now that I had that out of the way, it's time to analyze the events that had taken place prior to this. I stood up and looked out of the window behind me.
'I really am an idiot huh.'
The image of a happy and prosperous town overlapped with the current wasteland that currently lies before my eyes, I was about to go on another mental tangent before snapping back and considering the series of odd events that happened.
First was that holy Knight Hinata, how did she get information about me? I have the [[Perfect memory]] skill so there's no possibility of me forgetting who I interacted with during my jaunt in ingracia. The only person that had that information about me was yuuki, the Grandmaster of the free guild and one of shizu's former students. To be honest I'm hesitant to suspect him but I'm done with all that bullshit called wait and see approach. I fired thought acceleration and began going through different scenarios of motives yuuki could have for setting me up.
Despite this I couldn't find anything that was a good reason for taking me out. At least based on my evaluation of yuuki, the fact is I don't have nearly enough information about the guy.
Sighing I turned my back to the window and sat back down, that's when I got really pleasing news from Raphael.
[[Notice, analysis of [Infinite Prison] has been completed, the individual 'Veldora Tempest' can now be freed.]]
'Hmm thanks Raphael, with this I gain a useful asset for my goals.'
I once again got up, looked around my office then sighed.
After getting myself together I moved to the sealed cave using [Spatial Motion].
After getting there I created an enhanced clone with the help of Raphael and instructed it to transfer Veldora's essence into the clone.
The cave walls glowed with the radiance of Veldora's energy, the structure of the clone began to change and then it morphed into a tall man with tanned skin and blond hair, he had a considerable amount of muscle and some dubious lines under his eyes.
'What even are those?'
After the transformation was done I greeted my "sworn brother".
"Welcome back, Veldora."
"Yeah, Rimuru." He said in an unexpectedly calm voice.

Veldora Tempest's POV
As usual I was hanging out in rimuru's stomach, occasionally analyzing the infinite prison from my side. I sometimes passed time by engaging with the flame Lord that rimuru got from that human girl.

Today was different though, my sworn brother is in great pain. He lost one of his closest subordinates at the hands of the selfishness of humans, he even underwent a demon Lord evolution in an attempt to save them.

But it ended up in failure, the souls he needed were stolen by someone even I couldn't detect.

Now I am being freed from the infinite prison.
My usual loud attitude would not be appropriate for this type of situation, as I know how much his comrades mean to him.

Now, I am determined to lend him a hand, no matter what path he decides to take. It's not like I had much empathy for humans in the first place.

Guy Crimson POV
"Hmmm......"
"What's with the weird sound?"
"Nothing... Actually there is something."
"Oh? Do tell."
And so a particularly stressful conversation began.
I don't want to even start on this.
It all started when I got a report from misery that the army of a puny human nation that has been suspicious lately got wiped out by a masked Majin.
Normally I would have ignored something like this, but the report continued that said Majin fell unconscious suddenly after a very suspicious amount of people had died.

Why suspicious?
Well I don't know, it's probably not because it was the number of souls needed for evolution into a demon Lord.
Can't be that, definitely.
Who am I kidding, it's definitely that.

Under normal circumstances, this event would have passed under my nose, I would know eventually of course, just that the information wouldn't be this fresh, speaking of fresh things, how is Leon doing...?
Okay back to business, I don't typically send misery to the jura forest, things are boring there most of the time. To be honest I still don't know why misery was even there.
Anyway that isn't important, what is my cause for concern now is the new born demon Lord in that forest.

"Oh it's just some masked Majin that evolved into a demon Lord." I told my partner, the White Ice Dragon Velzard.

"Ehhh? And this Majin was unknown to you prior to this?"

"As a matter of fact, yes. This Majin popped up from nowhere and is probably a true demon Lord by now."

"That's very unusual, you usually keep tabs on creatures and things that could be a possible asset in your game with that human. How did this one stay unnoticed?"

I pondered her question.
As she said I was keeping tabs on potential assets, I had more or less marked all the beings I deemed interesting, how did this one slip through. Or is it.... Was it born recently? No that's improbable, no normal being can grow strong that fast. Though I think like this, this is not the main issue I'm worried about.
"What's the hassle though? Even if they are unknown, why don't you just recruit them to your little squad?" She asked again. Now we were approaching the main issue.
"It's not it's ambiguity that disturbs me, it's the circumstances that drove it to evolution." I responded.

"Hmm? What's that?"
"According to misery this Majin had built a town of monsters, and said monsters have been killed by humans. It might want revenge against the humans, this might drive it to make rash decisions. I would really hate to exterminate a potential asset."

"Why don't you monitor it, and if it tries something you can attempt to make it submit. If that is impossible there's nothing you can do but get rid of it, right?"

Indeed that was a valid point.

"Now, what choice will you make, mysterious Majin?" I mused aloud, feeling something I haven't felt in a while, excitement.

A/N: so here's part 2.
To be honest I don't know what guy was doing at this point in time in canon, but since it's a what if I kinda definitely wung it.(is wung a word, it isn't? Forget that.)
So when I'm done with part 3 I'll publish it.
Don't know when that would be since the rain is messing with our power supply right now. Bye for now.
