Welp. What do you get when two dudes (one being sleep deprived) rant about their exasperation with a specific character?
You don't know? Well, here it is, lmao.
.
.“Hngh…”
‘Huh, that sounded more feminine than I'd care to admit…’ I thought as I stretched my limbs.
A pretty unnecessary action on my part but a habit nonetheless.
The day had slowly gone by as I worked, and now it was nighttime.
I didn't feel any physical exhaustion but I couldn't say the same for my mind. I think this amount of monotonous activity could kill anyone, slime or not.
And what that basically means is…
“Time for some down time, I guess?”
I tidied up the papers on my desk, doing a supremely shoddy job at it.
But I couldn't care less at the moment, not like mixing those papers up would affect me in any way.
Mistakes are too pedestrian after all, hehe.

Ignoring Ciel's obvious exasperation, I left my office behind.
“Who to invite today…?” I mused aloud.
Activities within the administrative district were already petering out, a bit later than I recommended but monsters have a knack for going above and beyond when they feel like it.
Bunch of diligent fellows…makes delegating easier for me though.
I nodded in response to greetings from the few monsters I passed along the way, my mind occupied with thoughts of any activities I could use to revive my flattened mind.
“Ah right, I haven't visited that place in a while..” I couldn't help but smile as the thought came to me.
But then I deflated again…
Will visiting there really be okay? Those never ended well in the past…
Ah forget it, I'll talk to Kaijin and the others first and decide if I'm willing to take the risk.
My short decision making process finalised, I jumped through space to Kaijin’s workshop.
I didn't appear directly within the place, but rather at the door. I could hear a subtle clank of equipment and the recognisable shuffle of tired feet.
Seems like they're calling it a day as well, perfect timing.
I stepped into the place to see Kaijin and his apprentices storing away their sensitive equipment.
I didn't go unnoticed for long.
“Oh! Boss, haven't seen ya around here in a bit. Ya need anything?” His familiar rough way of speaking eased some of the apprehension I was feeling about my intended destination for the night.
“Yeah, I've been pretty busy lately. It seems that's the same for you guys.” I said, looking around the workshop.
“Ah it's nothing. Just showing these guys the basics of the basics, nothing major.” Kaijin said, waving his hand dismissively.
The tired looks on the faces of his apprentices begged to differ though.
“That so? You're done for the day right?” I asked, just to confirm.
“That's right.”
I looked towards the near lifeless youths.
“You guys can go have fun for the night, go wild.” I smiled.
