Chapter 7 - Swordsman

All of them woke up early in the morning and met up under the oak tree.

     "Good morning everyone!" Aerielle greets them as well as all the guys greet her a good morning.

     "Are you guys ready?!" Zane asked them and all of them said "Yes!"

     "Well! Let's go to old man Kutaran's house!"

They arrived at a place near the old man's house and they saw him planting vegetables in his backyard.

     "What are we going to do?" Ren whispered.

     "We need someone to approach him." Zane whispered back.

Zane called Aerielle in a low voice "Arielle! Can you approach Mr. Kutaran?"

Then suddenly, Aerielle raised her voice in frustration.

     "Huh?! Why me?! I didn't come here to be a servant!"

     "Aerielle shut the fuck up!" Ren said.

Because of this noise, the old man saw them.

      "You guys over there! Do you need something?"

     "I want to go home…" Axia said to himself feeling a secondhand embarrassment.

All of them approaches Mr. Kutaran and Zane tell him the reason for their sudden visit.

     "Uhm good morning Mr. Kutaran. We are here because we would like you to teach our friend how to use a sword."

The old man was joyful hearing the request.

     "Teaching a friend of yours on how to use a sword?! Of course I would gladly accept that!"

     "Really?! Thank you so much!" Zane happily said.

     "Don't stand there outside, come inside my house."

All of them entered Mr. Kutaran's home and they saw his collection of knives, kunais, shuriken, and more. The most interesting among all of them, is the perfectly preserved sword.

     "Mr. Kutaran's sword is perfectly preserved, and looks like this is really important to him." Axia thought.

     "It takes me back to the old time where I used to play swordplay against other people in our community. Sadly, swordplay has been slowly forgotten. I remember the time where I won multiple times. Oh! You!"

Mr. Kutaran points to Zane.

     "Huh?! Me?!"

     "I remember the time where you ran away because I caught you watching me wielding my sword. By the way, would you like to see my sword?"

     "Yes!" Ren, Aerielle, and Zane said.

     "Looks like someone has an eye on it already." He is talking about Axia who is staring at the sword.

     "Excuse me young man. May I get the sword?" 

Axia moves out of its way. As soon as Mr. Kutaran gets his sword, Axia sits on the chair.

Mr. Kutaran showed his sword. "This is my sword. I call it 'Reiki'."

     "Reiki? Why is that?" Ren asked him.

     "Whenever I slash anything using this, I can feel a cool air sensation on it. Wanna see it?"

All of them said yes.
