Chapter 17 - A Big Event

Daisuke told everyone to listen to him with full attention.

"The captain's raven bird gave me a letter and it contains the event that is happening in the next two weeks which is the coronation of the new king. Meanwhile, the news will be spread tomorrow."

Everyone in the room shouted and was in disbelief.

"Quiet! This is not just an announcement! We are tasked to prepare and plan the overall flow of the event."

One of the members raised his hand.

"Can I say something?"

"Sure."

"Isn't it too much for us to handle? I mean it's a very big event."

"Of course, we are not the only ones who will be in charge of it. We will need some help from the other teams."

"This should be a captain's duty. Well, he's on a mission and I understand it." he thought as he takes a sigh.

"I will assign sub-leaders to make this organized."

"Kanku, you will be the leader that is in charge of arranging the venue. Your team will be in charge of arranging the decorations.

"Metalion, you will be the leader that is in charge of letting the people go in and out of the palace in an organized situation. The entrances and exits of the people must be organized and peaceful. This is a formal event. Also, make sure that no one brings harmful materials

"Rosa, you will be the leader that is in charge of securing the royal family. Preventing assassinations.

"Luke, you will be the leader that is in charge of securing the people and overall security in the palace."

"Understand?"

All of them said yes.

"One more thing. Leaders, after planning, come to my office and we will talk to other teams to make things clear for everyone. You may also come to my office if you have questions. And uhm, you can use the other floors, it's crowded here. We always gather in this tiny room since this place is mostly where assignments are delivered

Daisuke leaaves the room, and everyone inside is gathering members.

A guy goes to Axia, who is likely his age.

"Are you looking for a team?"

Axia looked at him and was surprised.

"Is this the guy who ended the battle in the entrance exam in 5 seconds?!" he thought

"Oh! Yeah-"

The two are interrupted by the leader who is in charge of securing the people and overall security in the palace, Luke.

"Hey, you two! Can you join us?!"

"Sure!" the guy said.

"Wanna join also?" he asked Axia.

"Sure!"

The two go to Luke's team.

"I think we're enough! Oh! You are the two newbies, right?! Luke pointed at the two.

"Yes! I am Kagami Pearce!"

As soon as Axia heard the last name, he remembered the name of Ren's opponent's last entrance exam. "Pearce... Is he related to him or something?"

Axia zoned out and he didn't hear that Luke was calling him until Kagami touched him.

"Oh sorry! I zoned out!"

"What is your name?"

"My name is Axia Murai, sir!"

"Please don't call me sir, I am not that old."
