Chapter 12 - Inside The House

Zane welcomed her inside the house and introduced her to his friends.

"Everyone! This is Floryn Helial! A friend of mine!"

"Are you sure? Just a friend?" Aerielle teased him.

Because of this, Floryn is more embarrassed and Zane looks at her in a death stare.

"Just don't mind this stupid idiot." Zane said and looked at her waiting for her to introduce herself more. And so, Floryn stood up.

"Good afternoon to all of you. My name is Floryn Helial. A friend of Zane. Nice to meet you all."

Axia and Aerielle greeted her also.

After a while, Zane called her. "Floryn."

"Uhm yes?"

"Go with Aerielle and unpack your things. Both of you are girls and you can share a room with her."

"Ok!"

"Let's go!"

Aerielle and Floryn go upstairs inside her room. While Floryn is unpacking her things, Aerielle tries to have a chat with her.

"Can I ask you a question?"

"Sure!"

"What is your relationship with Zane?"

"What do you mean?"

"Ehh... I think that both of you have known each other for a very long time and he never talks about other people aside from his parents."

"You're correct that we have known each other for a very long time, but he also never talks about any of you to me..."

"Oh... But how long have you guys known each other?"

"9 years."

"What?! That's too long! I don't believe that both of you don't have a thing for each other! Also, I think that he has been on your side for the past 1 year!"

Floryn's cheeks become red and she started to panic.

"Why are you saying those things?! I swear we're just friends! Also, he is not always in the workshop so we're not always together!"

"You're red!"

"No, I'm not! It's just you're saying weird things!"

The guys below started to talk about what they should eat later in the evening.

"He said that we can pick fruit and vegetables outside." Zane said.

Ren didn't like the idea and said."Isn't it too boring and bland if we will just eat those?"

"We can catch some fish since this is an island."

Both of them liked Axia's idea so they decided to go outside to catch some fish.

Zane shouted. "Girls! We're heading out! Don't open the door if someone knocks and you don't know them!"

A voice from a room that can be heard said, "Ok! Take care!"

Near the shore.

"Looks like he is correct, no one can find this island, it is surrounded in... mist." Axi said.

"Don't mind it. Let's sharpen some wood and catch some fish." Ren said.

"I'm not doing that." Axia said.

"Huh?!"

"Relax, Ren. I can just use my sword."

"It's okay, Ren. Let's give him a shot."

Zane and Ren continued sharpening their wood using a sharp stone that they found.

Axia stepped into the ocean and crossed it until the water reached his thigh and took out his sword. He looked at the fish and prepared to catch it.

"It's fine if I'll use my sword since this is not too wide nor big. So it will not rip out the fish too much." He said.

Sword Wielding Technique - 5th Phase: Thrust

Axia stabbed the fish underwater at lightning speed and he caught 3.

Axia is happy and calls them.

"Look! I caught 3 of them!"

"That's nice! We can finish early!" Zane said.

After a few minutes, the two finally sharpen their woods and they joined him.

Not too long, they finished catching and they caught a total of 23 fish.

They went inside the house and called the girls to help them prepare it.

"What?! 23?! That's too much!" Aerielle said with a surprised face.

"Don't worry! We will eat all of it!" Ren said.

They started cleaning the fish while Ren and Zane gathered some wood, leaves, and fruits and vegetables.

After cleaning the fish, they cook it on a stick in an open fire.

Meanwhile, Aerielle and Floryn started preparing the fruits and vegetables.

After cooking everything, they started eating it. And after eating, they went to their respective rooms to have a rest and prepare for tomorrow morning.
