Chapter 10 - The Venue

After finishing up everything, they went to the nurse and asked if they were already paid. Fortunately, they were paid.

    "Eh?! We're paid?" Aerielle is in disbelief.

    "But who paid us?" Axia said.

    "This would be a perfect opportunity to discover who is behind this. This hospital would be mostly rich people who can afford to pay in here." He thought.

    "Sorry, but it is a disclosure." The nurse said.

    "Oh… Nevermind, we will go now. Thank you for taking care of us."

All of them thanked her and left the hospital.

The others relaxed for a few hours before going on to thevenue. Meanwhile, Axia is being drown to his thoughts

    "According to Zane, there are numerous squads in this kingdom with a certain task to deal with. From it, only Front Warriors could possibly attack those bandits. However, Zane also said that the Strategy squad could also help in capturing suspects. But he said that most of them are busy with paperworks. To conclude, only two squads are possible, Front Warriors or Strategy. Wait… bursting out mist is a form of strategy, based on the name, Strategy. But, it is also possible for the Front Warriors to make a strategy… This is killing my brain…"

After a few hours, they now continued their way to the venue.

    "Where is the venue here?" Ren asked.

    "The venue is located near the House of Carbona." Zane said.

    "Eh?! That's why this city is called Carbonadia!" 

    "Yes."

    "What is the connection of the House to the entrance exam? When the Tech City is the most prosperous city." Axia asked him.

     "I heard that after the war thousand years ago, the house suggested an exam to pick the best candidate who will become a warrior of this kingdom. That's all I know."

    "I see."

After a few more minutes, they arrived at a place full of people.

    "It's noisy in here." Aerielle said.

    "Looks like a lot of people would like to take an entrance exam after 2 years without it." She added.

Suddenly, they hear a voice coming from the speaker around the said venue.

    "Good afternoon, dear exam takers! I would like to give you a warm welcome! We know that the entrance exam was canceled in the past 2 years. That's why today! The king has granted us permission to now continue this! Please head inside the arena and we will now begin!"
