Chapter 33 - Thorned Rose

Tanasha’s wounds are starting to fully heal. However, she and Ellysa are both scared about what is currently happening. While trembling in fear, Ellysa peaks through the window, she sees Ren and Axia dealing with a woman.

The woman above the tree continuously talks to Ren and Axia below.

    “I know both of you! The one who uses a sword and another black haired maniac guy. Very well, I’ll test both of you! This should be easy, one of you is magicless. I wonder how you survived that attack.”

Flower Magic - 1st Phase: Petal Blades

The woman grows a flower on her hands and it blooms to release petal blades.

Axia moves forward to deflect all the petal blades.

Sword Wielding Technique: 11th Phase - Rays of Sun

Axia slices up all of the petal blades with an incredible speed.

    “He’s speed…. For someone who doesn’t have magic. Is he a descendant of a swordsman? I heard that swordsman's been banned or not being practiced anymore this time. How can he use a sword? How did he discover it on his own and how to use it?” The woman observes.

The woman stops and speaks.

    “I can say that it was good. Looks like I need to keep my guard up… Huh?..”

She sees that Ren was no longer on Axia’s back.

    “Where did he go? This guy moved forward and the person behind him was just there…”

She looks around to find but Ren is at her back and ready to stab him. Ren created a bloodspear.

    “When did he get in here?! I didn’t even see nor feel him move! This is bad! I’ll escape!”

The woman escapes by teleporting to a nearby flower below the tree. Since Ren did not succeed, he returns to Axia's side.

    "HAHAHA! That cheap trick won't work for me! It will take both of you a million years just to touch me!" She brags.

    "Don't talk big." Ren intimidates her.

    "What do you mean?"

She looks at her arm and it is bleeding. She is shocked and cannot believe it.

    "That's impossible! I escaped! I didn't even feel that you hit me!"

    "Well, sorry. But when I swung the spear some of my blood touched your skin and it started to cut through your skin. Let's say my blood itself is hungry for some flesh."

Ren's statement started to anger her more.

     "Is that so? Then taste my power!"

Her wound starts to grow a flower to stop it from bleeding. Then, the petals fall and it is fully healed as it is unscratched.

After watching her do it, Axia whispers to Ren.

    "Get ready, Ren. This woman might be stronger than we think. Don't underestimate her."

Ren nods and prepares himself.

Meanwhile, the woman laughs crazily as she is up to something.

    "HAHAHA! Being free feels so good! What should I do? Should I give them a spider lily? Blue spider lily? Sunflower? Ah! I know! Being free means to be energetic! I want to be energetic! Being unsealed! Being free! Being energetic! Come to me!"

Flower Magic - 4th Phase: Spider Lily

She grows and released numerous spider lily to attack both Ren and Axia. The flowers hit the ground and strangely bounces off. The flower hits the ground and bounces towards Axia's face. Luckily, he deflected it using his sword and bounces of in the different direction.
