Chapter 41 - Voices In The Head, In The Heart

    “I'm hungry.” Ren says.

    “Ahh… me too. It's already morning.” Axia says too in a tired tone.

    “Uhm… I want to thank the three of you again, Ren, Axia, and Ellysa. I will be in your debt.” Ito says.
    “No. Don't mention it. It's our duty to maintain peace.” Axia happily says.

    “Let's go home! I want to eat!” Ren shouts.

    “Do you guys wanna eat here?” Ito asks them.

    “No, thank you. We are going back now.” Axia replies.

    “Are you sure?”

    “Yes. You need to look for you sister. She might be traumatised. There's a restaurant down the forest and beside the river. It's just a few minutes walk.”

    “O-oh… Sure.”

All of them enter the house and the three get their things. Meanwhile, Ito goes to his sister.

    “Ta-tanasha!”

Ito goes to her and cries on her shoulder.

    “I-it’s over!.. It's done!. Don't be scared!..”

He comforts Tanasha as she cries too. Ren, Axia, and Ellysa leaves the house quietly in order to avoid disrupting the two. However, Axia didn't get the piece of fabric.

They are now going down the forest and talking aboit everything that happened.

    “Man! It's already morning!” Ren says as he stretches his body.

    “That fight was intense.” Ellysa says in an emotionless manner.

     “Why are you talking like that now? Weren't you scared?”

    “Probably I am just tired.”

As they are walking down, Axia starts to feel dizzy and his vision starts to blur, he starts having a hard time walking straight.

    “Oh..oh…” He utters as he knows he is about to pass out.

    “Hey! Are you okay?!” Ren asks him.

Suddenly, Axia passes out and falls to the ground.

    “Hey! Hey! Ellysa! Help me! Get his bag and sword! I will carry him!”

People shouting at a distance and screams of terror are circulating at an unknown place. A banging of sounds and massive destruction of burning houses and mass killing can be seen and heard.

Axia suddenly opens his eyes with a tear on his face. He starts to touch his chest as it is hurting.

    “It's all a dream… but it felt real…”

Axia moves his head and finds himself in a room.

    “So I really passed out… How long was it?”

He tries to move his body but it hurts him.

    “Argh! My body hurts! I can't move!.. And again, I'm here in a hospital?..”

    “Yes.”

    “Whah! Zane?!”

Zane is sitting beside him.

    “I thought that you are in a coma. You've been sleeping for weeks. Auntie came in here last time and gave this.”

Zane hands him a hat, which was made by Axia’s mother.
